Pacquiao was always gonna win a 12 round UD. I watched the fight in HD at home and loved it. Clottey was not gonna throw enough per round, he did tag Pacquiao though quite a bit. Pacquiao is sensational at attacking but he does throw wild and gets tagged a lot. If he fights Mayweather or Mosley he needs to tighten up his defence, he has a chance of beating them if he tightens up, because Mosley has power and Floyd doesn't waste his punches and he's so accurate, I hope they can make this fight.

Testing to be effective has to be random and up to the day of the fight. So even 14 days is not enough. The problem is blood testing is too invasive for boxing during training. It can disrupt the the boxer physically or mentally. It's not the same as running. They use their arms vigorously. Clots can be dislodged and go to the lungs heart or brain etc. They have to improve non invasive testing. Or make it a rule for everybody and not be selective,

Pacquiao was always gonna win a 12 round UD. I watched the fight in HD at home and loved it. Clottey was not gonna throw enough per round, he did tag Pacquiao though quite a bit. Pacquiao is sensational at attacking but he does throw wild and gets tagged a lot. If he fights Mayweather or Mosley he needs to tighten up his defence, he has a chance of beating them if he tightens up, because Mosley has power and Floyd doesn't waste his punches and he's so accurate, I hope they can make this fight.

Testing to be effective has to be random and up to the day of the fight. So even 14 days is not enough. The problem is blood testing is too invasive for boxing during training. It can disrupt the the boxer physically or mentally. It's not the same as running. They use their arms vigorously. Clots can be dislodged and go to the lungs heart or brain etc. They have to improve non invasive testing. Or make it a rule for everybody and not be selective,

Well the good thing is that you can do that with urine...up to the day of the fight including the same day actually and both fighters agreed to it.
For the testing standard: What better fight than this one to set the standard for ALL fighters to do it. Of course, with money costs, it will probably end up being top 10 guys mainly with the others occasionally having to do it if suspected.

Amateur/Olympic boxing is SAFETY FIRST!! Hence, the headgear, bigger gloves, point system, less rounds, multiple fights, etc. So the Olympics can do random blood tests with the amateurs as much as they want.
Pro boxing is the opposite. It destroys the boxers' bodies by making weight, using smaller gloves, no headgear, more rounds, etc.!! There is a reason why sanctioning bodies from all around the world DO NOT force the professionals to take random blood tests close to the fight!!

Floyd also asked for the blood test at 14 days...for a tablespoon of blood which they said would not hurt the athlete. And considering both fighters would make 147 with no problem....what's the problem?

Same day weigh-ins can be brought back in as well...with some room for

well yeah mayweather does not have any proof because paquaio wont get tested, hell theres no proof for moesly using roids or tommy morison , but they have admitted it. they didnt get caught because of the test but word of mouth .

Floyd Sr kept running his mouth saying that Pac was on roids (pac wanted to sue Floyd Sr at that time but decided not to because it would of gotten in the way of his training. and when Pac TKO'd Hatton so fast that when all the trash talking came strong. Floyd Jr never thought Pac was on anything, Sr left Hatton on the mat and just split right after

@snpaa: if you look at the post interview of Floyd Sr after the Pac vs Hatton fight, you'll see that Floyd Sr NEVER wanted Jr to fight Pacquiao, he didnt give his reason but he said and i quote "i know my son will woop his ass, i just dont think its a good idea they fight" all fingers point to SR!!!!!!

actually thats the post cotto fight your talking about. he didnt want him to fight him because he thought pac was on the roids . if you have sucsiopon dont be afraid to act on it, then regretting not doing anything 10 years later. if pac wanted the fight he would of just took the blood test and prove to world he was clean .

@snpaa: actually NO stupid, Sr said the exact same thing in a post fight interview after the Hatton fight. Pac does want the fight snpaa....Floyd never signed the contract and Pac did so what does that tell you???? if you didnt see my previous posts, i'll repeat myself again, Floyd Jr wanted the fight to be in May!!! i mean why do you think that the money issue came to agreement so fast?? thats like the most difficult thing to agree on.

pac would not agree to the olympic test, so what if floyd wanted the fight in may? the money issue came into agreement so fast because floyd wanted to make the fight he realized pac wasnt gonn agree to the 60 - 40 split so he let pacman have what he wanted even ridiculous contract stipulations, so that it would be fair for him to ask for an olympic test which mayweather was going to take too. also post the link for the post hatton fight.

But we'll never know because Pac didn't cave into the testing demands. Now if Pac agreed to it...then we would know.
Floyd had no fight in March and is said to NEED money...which is why he had to fight Mosley which is only in March because it has to be promoted and Pac has the March date.

Just ask for a better testing system in Boxing. That's what their campaign should have been about.

yeah word of mouth, mosely had to admit it because he would of been charge with perjury and thats nothing to fuck with, tommy morison admitted he was on steriods because he wanted to fight in mma and he explained that the steriods made him test positive for hiv. olympic stylse testing is harder to past because there random and youve got no time to cycle them or mask them with other drugs.

floyd cant fight in Texas because he uses illegal painkillers called Xylocaine. its banned in 49 states, Nevada is the only state that still allows it. now if floyd is all about money, he would of chose Dallas because it hold mores people. but no, hes fighting hin his own hometown of Nevada (the only state that still allows his illegal painkiller use) so really....floyd is a cheater to!!!! hes talking about playing fair and shit, give me a damn break
