I know this is Fievel Goes West, but there is something about the original American Tail that always confused me. How could Warren T actually be a cat if he was just barely taller than Fievel in the beginning of the movie? Did he have some growing/shrinking potion or something like that?

but he did implement that attack on their homes in NY, and he tricked them into going West, and he tricked them into building his little town, and then he was through with them and was gonna eat 'em up! lol

he was very powerful, but not that scary, i guess : P
