i was like 3-5 when this game came out, being a hardcore batman fan from the age i was able to understand what was going on, i LOVED this game, all these people talking about arkham city and asylum, i'm playing city right now, and would happily trade it in to get this amazing little gem back. the game was awesome, so people should chill, i mean it was released in the 90's.. it'd have NO chance against a 2011 game

This is the worst game i've ever played, i rented it back when it came out. I couldn't figure out what to do, i did the car chase thing that was complete bullshit because the car wouldnt start. I am honored and priveleged to have played the batman games by Rocksteady, they did it right. Seriously thank you Rocksteady for developing THE best batman games of all time.

And this is the reason why a free roaming Batman game was a bad idea....I'm not kidding this whole game is a free roamer, and it is entirely of Gotham City. Batman Arkham City is also sort of a free roamer, but you are only limited to one part of the city. I don't mind it one bit. Other problem with this game is that you have to keep switching between detective mode and combat mode, which is also a pain in the ass. You also get to play as Robin or Batgirl. Only problem, they're weak as shit.
