@superstankful- I have one in my state. It's about 15 min from red rocks where they have concerts. Or watch the show pinks. It's kinda stupid but they do have their own drag track. You can find drag tracks in a lot of states. That's how ppl find out how many seconds their cars take to do 1/4 mile

Oh by the way, please don't race on the road, first time I tried it my friend totaled his car, and if you're going to try and pick up chicks they care more about looks than speed.. if you want a slow stock car, get an integra. my buddies honda hatch keeps up better than those do.
but honestly man, a car is an INVESTMENT. you should be more worried about gas mileage, safety, how well the car handles and is maintained. because down the line, it WILL matter.
@etomas6 dude i just bought and 95 eclipse rs 5 speed manual 2 months ago im 17 i used my own money got it for 2500 cash 61,000 miles look on craigslist you WILL find a great deal just look everyday. The rs is decently fast once it hits 4000 rpms. One fun thing to do is to put it in first and bring it to 4300 rpms, then punch it, you will be pushed back to the seat and it so fun handling is great and with back seats down you can fit a dinosaur in the back. Just get the manual, no auto.

Vtec is something than even most american newer car uses, but not with that name, so dont blame it...
American engineer on engines, are not the best, if a japanese trademark try to do a V8 with its technology, im pretty sure, they would made a better engine than any of american...

@oskiller3006 True about the Vtec only cars i dont know of now that use it is the Push Rod v8s chevy still uses!! They are staying with American Technology, But there are a few cars from Japan that are great drag cars. My favorite is the Starion its a Torque Monster its not uncommon to see it have 250whp but 400+ ftlbs (i hope you know what that means since most youtubers dont)

At lease my engine never ever needs to be sleeved because it is a real race motor built to handle loads of boost, by loads I mean 35-45 psi on a 62 trim, 50 trims are small for our dsm engines, for you Honda its pushing it to the brink.

@DJNEKOO Most aftermarket exhaust systems for the eclipse gst and gsx come with a muffler like that (looks like an N1 style exhaust). Mainly bc it's a straight through muffler and flows much better. On a non turbo car they don't make much difference but on turbo car like the eclipse and talon a 3" exhaust and a straight through muffler make a HUGE difference. I have to agree with you though, I like an exhaust with a more tasteful looking muffler.
i think were all confused here gsx has 220hp(horsepower) and civic has 200 tp (turtle power) wait but yet again a turtle has more torque and can probbably haul a civic in a tug of war race. and im talking about small pet turtles

At lease my engine never ever needs to be sleeved because it is a real race motor built to handle loads of boost, by loads I mean 35-45 psi on a 62 trim, 50 trims are small for our dsm engines, for you Honda its pushing it to the brink.

@DJNEKOO Most aftermarket exhaust systems for the eclipse gst and gsx come with a muffler like that (looks like an N1 style exhaust). Mainly bc it's a straight through muffler and flows much better. On a non turbo car they don't make much difference but on turbo car like the eclipse and talon a 3" exhaust and a straight through muffler make a HUGE difference. I have to agree with you though, I like an exhaust with a more tasteful looking muffler.
