Yes you can, i did this.

You need a DVI to HDMI adapter. You just need to have separate speakers.

Look for a DVI to HDMI adapter, you can grab it for around $10.

when i tried connecting mine with this set up, the adapter did not fit because of that piece of plastic under the DVI input where the rotation thing is.

this monitor is also last gen. The newer generation of acer monitors are better. The cheap 22in version is 2500:1. Which is more than decent.

I've had two. Both were pixel-perfect.

The first one got screen-cracked in a fall to the floor. The second one (this monitor comes in white with a gloss screen, different model number, is also pixel-perfect. NO dead pixels.

Bought both from Tiger Direct. Excellent value; I've had good luck, sure. And faultless service. I am NOT in league with any maker nor vendor. I'm just a home computer user. This is a fine monitor. WIDESCREEN is the way of all good monitors today. You want widescreen.
