This is absolutely true, the bible clearly tells us there is a heaven and a hell. Heaven is for those who live righteously according to Gods word and Hell is for those who chose to disobey Gods word. Hell was NOT created for humans it was initially created for Satan and his angels but our sin is what takes us there and this is a choice we make. God does not want anyone to go there so it is our responsibility to make sure that we avoid this horrible place of torment. God Bless You...Acts 2:28

Matt, what do you have to say to the people who say it was all in your mind? That it was just neurons buzzing, what do you say to them? And when you committed suicide, you were in your car. and then the next minute your in mid air? What exaclty happened after you committed suicide to the time you were in hell with demons?

We all fall short, this is why Jesus had to go through what He did. Repent for your wrong doings and help others. As long as your are helping others you will not think about where you will be going after this very short experience. As long as you are not sure weather or not that you will be going to Heaven, there is a very good chance you will. Remain humble before God and you will see Him.

i do believe in heaven and I no I will someday see my dad again who just passed away.He is my best friend.I where my dads neckles now with a cross on it that he left behind and i dreamed of him coming back and telling he left because he was tired.I love you I miss you but I no we meet again.

I wanteded to add that your experience was slightly similar to that of BW Melvin. Author of Hell's Dominion. In his experience he was more of a witnesser than an experiencer. He saw people trapped in cubes of illusion where creatures took on forms of people and places and tormented the prisioners. But again I believe it was a self created experience. Most NDERs who go all the WAY into the light come to the conclusion that there is no real place called Hell but self condemnation will create it.

I have studied NDEs for many years. I believe people do have Hellish experiences but I do not believe there is a real hell other than the one we create.

Hey Matt, were you at all hungry/thirsty in hell? When you were taken down to hell was there anything dragging you down? What were you thinking when you were drifting down to hell? I mean, is there anything on earth, anything at all, that can compare to what you experienced in hell?

Think about when you felt tired, after working hard all day, that is how your body feels all the time. You just want to rest all the time, and there is none.

I was taken to the entrance to hell by a collector, and dropped in. I free fell into a pit that was blacker than anything you have ever experienced. Nothing that you are, or have ever gone through on earth can even come close to the torment that awaits those that enter hell.

If God wanted you to return to Heaven, he wouldn't have let you go back to Earth in the first place. He would have let you stay. You shouldn't have tried to kill yourself in order to get to Heaven (but if what everyone says is true, then it's understandable since Heaven is something you want after you see it)

It's good to know that God gave you a second chance, though.

I dont know if I believe Mary Baxter, her story is certainly unbiblical. However Matt seems legit in the sense that he did die. Baxter did not.

These demons that were confronting you, were they scratching you? Beating you? Screaming at you? Did you see/hear anyone else in hell? And when you saw Jesus did he look like a man?

my advice is he should look into Mary K baxter and also Bill Wiese also. I have ben studying NDE's for a long time and I can say that his experience was a short one and that he was in the upper level of hell only and not into the lower parts where he would have seen the pits and the cells and much more there I know hell is huge and it is in the center earth also and that it is in the shape of a human body also.

it doesnt seem he went to a very low place in hell it seems he went to the upper part maybe but he was under the age of accountability the first time thats why he went to heaven cause he was too young then. The second time he was a sinner and older and accountable for his sins then. He didn't know suicide will get you a one way ticket to hell. Lucky for him He was sent back here because no one gets out from there ever.

Sorry to ask another question Matt, but it is not every day that you get to ask questions to someone that went through something like this. The demons you saw, did they look like people, creatures or was it too dark to tell, and were you literally burning? How loud was it in hell? Could you breathe? How do we stay out of this place when we die?

No need to be sorry, people not asking questions about where we go after we die is what troubles me. The demons were in human form masquerading as people I had met throughout my life, looking distorted and tortured by the horrible emotions that they were trapped in. There was a time progression (day & night in hell), with it never getting so dark that you couldn't see. It was hot there and the atmosphere was heavy, thick, making it hard to breath. I've run out of space to answer any further now

Hey Matt, very interesting stuff. I believe this happened. When you were taken into hell, did you see any demons? Any flames? Or was it just utter darkness with no hope?

Question about Jesus; I didn't have to be told it was Jesus, I knew, intuitively, He was Jesus and I had always known Him. I could not, nor did not, want to look away. He has these amazing blue eye's and moved with purpose. He is God.

I know Matthew is telling the truth. Had a similar; not identical experience years ago; but wasn't near death. My friends & I'd hyperventilate; then let one of our big friends get us in a bear hug, passing us out. I was up in these pink clouds laying there in utter ecstasy. Nothing at all like a normal dream, though. Coming to, I thought I'd been out for 30 min but my friends said it was 5-10seconds. Then I felt 1/2 crazy for a minute. I ascribe it to the imagination. Don't do this by the way.

zocurtis- I saw nothing except for the pinkish clouds I was laying on. Total bliss. In the moment I came to I realized that the 30 minutes had actually been 5 or 10 seconds. That was very traumatic & I had to run outside, get some air & pace around for a few minutes. Then I was OK. Later I felt that the clouds represented Heaven at least my idea (existing in my mind from childhood on) of what Heaven might be like. I wish I could tell everyone I saw God but that just didn't happen.

Yes, this is me, Matthew Dovel. This is my Youtube account. ABC investigated me for over six months before putting my story on the air. ABC's Good Morning America, and 20/20 are news programs, not entertainment. I was not paid to be on their programs, and they did not even mention that I wrote a book about these experiences. This interview took hours to video, and was reduced to 7 minutes. Therefore, it is unlikely that you could get a true opinion based on what was aired.
