  • Homosexual activists understand the power of words.

Please visit my channel to watch a one-minute video clip in which popular atheist author Richard Dawkins admits that homosexual activists "hijacked the word 'gay'".

The word "homosexual" is more appropriate and accurate because it, unlike the word "gay", actually describes the behavior/attraction/relationship being discussed.

The word "gay" helps homosexual activists push their agenda.

  • WOW WOW WOW!!

  • wow i mean wow..

  • Big pharma must HATE this guy.

  • Health is not valued till sickness comes.

  • at 12:01 he discusses what foods to eat. 12:56 shows food list of cancer fighting foods.

  • It is a shame this video only has 94K views on 10/25/2011

  • Great talk and idea !

My question: Will it starve my performance at stamina sports?

  • Hi Richy-good question. We are fully developed beings and our blood vessels have formed during our development according to genetic programs. ONCE WE ARE Developed, that should be it. No new blood vessel should be formed. It is shut off. Cancer cells can bypass this by sending the signals for NEW vessels to grow towards them to provide them with nutrients. So foods/drugs that prevent this pretty much only target cancer cells. I imagine warts may be targeted as well, as they also send signals.

  • my only problem with angiogenic foods is if they're actually targeting the tumors. I mean these people aren't dying because of lack of blood because all blood vessels aren't being targeted. How do they know that the chemicals in the foods are hitting the tumors but not having ANY effect any where else? I guess the data demonstrates that it works, but this doesn't make complete sense to me...

  • is cancer nature's weedkiller for the human race to maintain balance...

    or

is cancer a side-effect of human artifice; the result of macro-interacting deficiencies among industry and economy?

  • @roidroid The China Study is what you're looking for. It's an epidemiological study, though that's the only way to truly study long-term diseases. Plant-based diets stood out as being the best in all categories.

  • good info

  • Is there a more extensive list of these foods/beverages? And perhaps a list of foods to avoid (pro-angiogenesis, I guess?)

  • From Wikipedia: Angiogenesis inhibitors were once thought to have potential as a "silver bullet" treatment applicable to many types of cancer, but this has not been the case in practice. Source: Hayden, Erika C. (2009-04-08). Cutting off cancer's supply lines. Nature 458 (7239) 686–687. doi10.1038458686b. PMID 19360048.

  • HOW HORRIBLE WHAT THEY DID TO THAT MOUSE.

  • @iheartadrianalima And for that one mouse gaining a few ounces of weight back and forth, we have extended our knowledge on how to save life.

  • Water fasting can help with cancer. My mother water fasted for 40 days and completely cured her breast cancer.

  • @attemptingtobehumble @attemptingtobehumble really? im hypoglycemic sugar gets low so im kinda scared of that...but im going in for a lump & have bad family history of deaths from breast cancer. did her lump dissappear??? my lump is size of a lemon, how big was hers? PLEASE RESPOND!

  • @zholyrebel She actually had lumps throughout her right breast they were fairly large but not the size of a lemon. Her doctor advised against fasting but she did it anyway when she went to a naturopathic doctor. After the fast she lived on seaweed and brown rice for quite a while due to the antioxidant effects. So far, she has been cancer free for three years. I understand that you are hypoglycemic which is unfortunate because cancer cells feed off of sugar. I hope all goes well for you.

  • @attemptingtobehumble thank you so much for that. ive changed my diet drastically and didnt realize how much trouble i may have caused. ive been listening to dan the man liferegenerator and juicing greens a lot too. hopefully all this info will help me. thank you so much for that info!

  • @zholyrebel No problem, Dan the Man is great I listen to him too :). I have been on a whole foods pescatarian diet for years and never had any problems. Hopefully everything will work out for you.

  • @attemptingtobehumble The more likely explanation is that your mother's breast cancer went into remission on it's own, regardless of water shenanigans.

  • Wow humans have spread their disease to the rest of the animal kingdom. I was not aware of how severe their sickness had become.

  • AMAZING!!!!! And promising for the future! Thank you!!!

  • This man is a genius and Five Star Health is here to help you. Look for it on Facebook. How can you have the best health for the rest of your life?

  • This is great. Drink Monavie

  • It had been a long time that i didn't hear an interesting ted talk

  • Buy more of our drugs.

How about they stop spraying, stop polluting, stop GMO food, and clean the water - then we won't need any of it.

    -TEW

  • @theeastwatch Used to believe it was 'accidental', but it happens too much and too wide in scope to continue that delusion.

Food, water and vaccine/medicine POISONS by 'accident'?

"Accidental" poisoning continues despite skyrocketing cancer compared to CANADA?

Our brain cancer rates are >10,000 times higher than Canada?

  • @theeastwatch i did not get the message buy more drugs from this vid... i walked away with the same message mom and grandma gave... eat your fruits and vegies...

  • @skybirdbird he actually says "We have new drugs for this" at one point. I do believe most, much, if not all health problems can be solved through diet but I didn't need a TED conference to tell me that :-p rasberry. :)

    -TEW

  • @theeastwatch no mr contrary... but i did not know for instance that combining two lower value teas is better than the highest one alone for instance... plus i think the "drugs" he is talking about are just higher concentrations of naturally occurring substances... technology and science do have a place... quit throwing the baby out with the bathwater... :-)

  • @skybirdbird I always throw babies out with bath water - they cry too much and poo all over.

    -TEW

  • @theeastwatch well... that DOES explain a lot!

  • @theeastwatch hahaha

  • Loved it..What about Monsanto and its GMO foods.....Ughhhhhh..

  • This is very good I am glad I watched it. Thank you for sharing. Peace,,,,

  • Insurance industry will stop any and all anit-pharma health approaches.

  • I did not watch this i just saw the headline

deal with your "beliefs and EMOTIONS"

there is no cancer or any dis-ease

    none

but what i b-lie-ed bu the observer

  • 12:57 I eat lots of those things! Green tea, blueberries, oranges, apples, red wine, dark chocolate, olive oil, tomatoes, garlic (and I eat lots of other vegetables and herbs too), every day. I bet I'm not getting cancer, save for exposure to something radioactive.

I've always thought preventative medicine made the most sense, and here is a practical, inexpensive, readily available and effective thing everyone can do to avoid cancer! What a fantastic video!

  • @Jotto999

I would want to start a disciplined regime too. I don't wanna get cancer!

Yeah, an ounce of prevention is worth a ... I shall try to eat cancer-fighting foods from now on... HIgh quality dark chocolate is hard to find...

  • Jeese how about that..maybe there is some truth when God said in Genisis that he provided all herbs and Seed bearing fruit to eat......bunch of idiots the truth has been in front of us since time began and our own huminism keeps getting in the way every single time

  • @Greenmarine6 God didn't provide the seeds or fruit... we merely evolved to use the foods available in our environment.

It took a scientist to mass produce antibiotics and it took science to eradicate smallpox. We don't need to be kept in the dark ages with religion thank you very much.

  • @mikeyo1234 actually the Bible has science in it that really really really REALLY smart people like you don't know anything about, and scientist are just now discovering that scripture provides many healthy rewards, but I wouldn't expect a closed minded person like you to belittle your self and read any type of morality. Diets like this are described in the Bible I guess that's why you evo people are so far behind

  • @greenmarine5

It's easy to say "The bible has great science in it hip hip hooray!!!" but why don't you try proving it by saying where in the bible these amazing science tidbits are? Anyone can say that they exist. That's a common principle known as "hearsay." Before you play the "you're so closed-minded" card, maybe you should know what you're talking about first. Go on. What's that passage? Where is it? Go get that passage. Go on, boy! Go get that passage. Go get it! Good booyy. Go and get it.

  • @biglmac Did he get it? Care to share? I'd be sure interested....

  • @greenmarine5

"actually the Bible has science in it that [...]REALLY smart people like you don't know anything about"

I'm a bit late to the party, but does this sound like a viable cure for leprosy from an omniscient god to you?

    -->Lev. 14:2-52

Yeah, killing birds and playing with their blood while using charms/incantations always trumps actual science. How could scientists have been so stupid to actually invent a vaccine that cures leprosy when the real answer was bird murder all along? LOL

  • @crossgigda You got that right. I was an observer at the Gerson Clinic in Mexico in the late 80's. Max Gerson was a genius. I only wish he were still alive to direct what is going on there now. I am sure he could titrate his program to compensate for GMO, Nano particles and heavy metals from vaccines and chemtrails. etc. I would love to have heard what his recommendations would be.

  • @Gr8stuffis chemtrails? hahaha oh god

  • @roidroid I came here, because i found your reply to me in my comments section on my channel, but try as I may, i cannot find it here to reply to, nor is there a reply option from what I found on my channel.

Your comment to me was that type I diabetes is different from type II,

I certainly agree with you there. Not only because this was what i was taught in medical school, and when working in hospitals we certainly had to treat the symptoms of each with different methods.

  • However, where we part our ways is that you think that type I, insulin dependent diabetes cannot be reversed.

I know that we were both taught that by the allopathic arena.

However, it has been my observation and experience that, given the right lifestyle and diet, people who are insulin dependent are able to jettison the insulin and lead normal, happy, healthy productive lives. Symptom free.

  • Autoimmune diseases respond to these detoxification and dietary methods.

    As do viruses.

As an aside. my significant other was diagnosed with another type of autoimmune disorder by the name of

Hashimoto's hypothyroid. They were given synthroid and told they were to be on this the rest of their lives.

as they would have no thyroid left in 5 years. tops.

  • After adopting an organic vegan diet and doing several cleanses, especially a cleanse to rid their body of

candida. They stopped using the synthroid... lost weight, gained energy, and never looked back.

It is 13 years later and my dearest is still thriving, never has a sick day, when all around are falling ill,

works from morning till night, and stays slim.

  • But back to your comment to me.

You might want to google the film Raw for 30 days ? or Simply Raw, Reversing Diabetes in 30 days, or something like that., I think that Top Documentary Films has a full length version online.

I am available on my channel if you want to send a message. This way I can actually reply to you, rather than search

for what seems to be a non existent comment on this video

  • @Gr8stuffis (just noticed your comment)

when you went to medical school, did you ever learn what an "anecdotal case" was?

i would like to see you cite some kindof actual study done into the efficacy of vegan detoxes for curing type 1 diabetes.

If you can't cite any such study... then how can you honestly tell anyone that it works? How do YOU even know it works if a proper test hasn't been done?

Until then, you're just yet another snake oil salesman, why can't you see that.

  • Two words: Max Gerson. His diet cures cancer.

  • Pharmaceutical-grade, science-based nutrition is easier to get than you may assume.

  • anti-angiogenesis = oxygen starvation of tumor cells = increase tumor cell instability = dissemination of tumor cells to other organ so it may not be the magic drug!

  • I envy people like him.... they know what they want to do, and know how to do it.

  • Is it true that animal's in the wild do not get cancer, because they consume food's from nature?

  • @NaturalSelection101 No it is not true. Many animals get cancer, it just happens that they are often killed and eaten long before palliative care would be needed.

Sharks are the only species I am aware of that is known to have an immunity to cancer.

  • @anoutsideobserver thanks........Have you ever heard of a wild animal like a Deer getting it?

  • @NaturalSelection101 Yes I have. Though I personally don't credit anecdotal evidence. Remember the longer you live the more likely you are to get cancer. Cancers are often caused by mutations in a cells dna which causes it to replicate uncontrollably. With ageing these mutations/errors occur more frequently. However animals in the wild do not easily reach an age where this is significantly likely. Cancer only seems common in humans because we eliminated other problems that would have killed us.

  • @anoutsideobserver thanks for the info man, interesting stuff

  • Why do 7 ppl like cancer?

  • may all fat cells and cancer cells ROT IN HELL!!!

  • Wow! just wow! i frickin love tedtalks and this guys should get a nobel prize!

  • @CetraTJ *guy* not *guys* lol

  • I saw Brassica in the list at 14:27.

Was George Carlin right? "Got cancer? Get yourself some broccoli"

  • What kinda people don't like this???

  • I like how these doctors are presenting these long known approaches like they thought of them themselves. Since it was outliers/alternative docs practicing these methods, they were denounced by the AMA as snake oil peddlers

  • I like how these doctors are presenting these long known approaches like they thought of them themselves. Since it was outliers/alternative docs practicing these methods, they were denounced by the AMA as snake oil peddlers.

  • Stunning talk!

  • This is what science can lead us to; novel and successful ways to fight deadly diseases.

This is contrary to sham-treatments (raw foodism, alternative medicine, etc.) which does not lead to new ideas and does not test its own claims.

This is a victory for science and testing, NOT (as others seem to be saying) for "organic foods."

Science will march forward towards progress while garbage claims will fall by the way-side and, unfortunately, take uninformed people with them.

  • Excellent idea

  • Yeah, I went on a 100% raw food diet for four months and it was as if my entire endocrine system was completely rebooted. So many changes for the better. It's just hard to stick to it. But I have friends who have had a raw food diet for many years, and they always look wonderful, full of energy, not overweight. health as heck.

  • The body has to be in balance between alkaline and acidic (homeostasis). This information is out there for years. So nothing new. Maybe William Li adds to this info with the angiogenesis, but the nutrients from Mother Nature are well known and applied in cures all over the world. This is going to be huge if big pharma is not getting in between. Cure yourself. You and only you are responsible for your own health.

  • Comment removed

  • And then the FDA and the WHO and with the Codex Alimentarius decide this kind of treatment is way out of the box and they can't make any money out of it. They will put vitamins and nutrients on the list of toxins and nobody gets cured from Mother Nature. Oh, they already are doing that...... WAKE UP!!! The FDA, the WHO and your doctor are not in it for your health, but for your sickness. They eat their meals because of your symptoms and they will never go after the cause of your disease. WAKE UP

  • This presentation has caused me to re-think my diet and guided me towards those "natural chemotheropy" foods. However my biggest question now is if the foods he mentioned are great anti angiogenesic foods then what foods are the opposite, the ones to avoid, that promote angiogenesis so one can not only focus on eating good foods but also avoid those that are bad.

    thanks

  • What excellent confirmation of what Hippocrates all ready knew and taught when he said, "Let thy food by the medicine & thy medicine be thy food." Now we just need to educate the masses who think "real" food is hot dogs & twinkies.

  • And fuck chemotherapy

  • Picard knows how ti pick his tea. :D

  • Have some red wine tonight!!

  • Wonder when is his book and special blend of anti-cancer tea coming out. And when is he going on Oprah.

  • At 11:35 he shows a graph. For my project at school I need the exact same data to support my research. How do you people think he came to this graph?

  • good food is the cure... select what you eat!!!

  • @samodoidi woohoo go raw foods!!! :D

  • @brittany051791 I wish you well with health, your studies & career . Sorry about the typo. Forget the word 'didn't' in that sentence, i was thinking to say 'so they didn't sell out.'

Just remember that our food supply is under attack right now. This was predicted over thirty years ago by raw food visionaries, who spoke of a time where we would need to be sovereign over our food supply, even our very own seed. I see that time is now. Organic is our last bastion of hope in the commercial supply.

  • @Gr8stuffis Thank you for the heads up on De Eliaz, I will definitely look him up.

  • We are light beings, our energy comes from the sun, either directly on our skin, or through green plants, or animals that eat green plants.

Every animal on the face of the earth eats their food alive. The closer you get to eating food alive, the more alive you are.

God was the master planner and put everything here, at our disposal, to lead a healthy life.

  • @Gr8stuffis

I agree that the use of chemicals on foods is not a good idea when the idea is to perserve the food without fully understanding the consequences of using said chemicals. However, I don't believe that they are purposefully making us sick and have made our life so much worst. If you look at statistics, the lifespan of the average person has been going up, not down. And when you care to make arguments, go to logic and evidence, not metaphors, works better. Take Care.

  • The more that man has interfered with that, the worse our plight has become.

The worst of it is, that now there are entities on this planet who are interfering 'on purpose' to cause disease in others, for their own profits, and their lack of ability to govern large groups of people, due to their own lack of energy, that they are experiencing secondary to their hedonistic lifestyles.

  • Over thirty years ago I was privileged to witness tumors the size of the dog's shrinking to nothing on a raw organic vegan diet as proposed by a simple Lithuanian woman by the name of Ann Wigmore. I have never seen a disease that didn't reverse itself on her program of organic veggies, fruit, seeds, soaked nuts and sprouted grains self titred to the proper PH balance leaning towards alkaline, and methods to increase oxygenation to help the PH balance, such as exercise and stress reduction

  • @Gr8stuffis .... The more present he is, he is able to heal people on many levels. Many days, he will meditate for several hours and then come into work in the afternoon. It is a primary part of his practicec is meditation. Right now he is on a meditative retreat for 3 years. It is a big part of him.

anyways, just taking a chance maybe itll be interesting to you. but yeah, hes definitlely been a big inspiration and source of direction on how to successfully live a natural life style.

  • 2. I was asked to be a research scientist by my micro biology teacher, who was also the dean of grad studies, when i was pre med. He was speaking for my anatomy and physiology, and chemistry professors too. I turned it down. Deep inside, I knew I needed more self work. I feel that scientists do not 'invent' they only discover.

How nice when their discoveries are " Spirit Led "

  • @Gr8stuffis thats really cool, i agree. thinking in that way makes science so much more interesting and enjoyable for me. so are you in med school now or a doctor? i recently decided to go on a track to eventually become a nurse practioner and also study chinese medicine.

  • @brittany051791

    @brittany051791

1.Thank you SOOOOOOOO much for that info. This is what is needed, scientists with a brain connection to their heart, who covet wisdom first, knowledge second. What a different world this would be if all scientists were made of this fiber, and knew who they really are and what they were doing before they didn't sold out to evil forces.

So nice that he is finally giving credentials to what Ann Wigmore's spirit guided her to.

  • Unfortunately, as more and more people have learned about and adopted this way of life, especially celebrities who are coming forth with there endorsement of her simple program, the pharmaceutical companies are doing all they can to use their money to put a stop to our being able to not be sick. With paid off politicians and committees like the Codex Alimentarius, who are legislating your rights to pure God given food away at their beck and call.

  • @Gr8stuffis .still in college and trying to find my path. she called and left me a message later after we talked, since you are interested in natural healing maybe you would like to hear what she said, it was very moving to me: Hi Brittany...here is one of the most important things, if not the most important thing, about Dr, Eliaz that I should have told you..

Isaac has been a meditator for 30 years and tibentian buddhism is his practice...

  • Before it is too late, even if you don't appreciate that the only way at this point in time to have a fighting chance to not eat GMO food, or food heavily laced with poisons and irradiated, you need to join organizations that are fighting for your right to pure food and water and air. I joined the Organic Consumer's organization and the Pop Campaign just for this reason.

  • @Gr8stuffis i like your ideas! very inspiring and truthful! we have the same outlook on this issue, i looked into the organizations you mentioned they seem like good sources of info. you may like the information from Dr. Eliaz, he is on youtube & is a very inspiring integrative doctor, and he has a website where he posts all kinds of new info about latest health discoveries. i talked to his nurse practioner for an hour last week about how to get involved in integrative medicine b/c im....

  • two thoughts...

1 there is an animal substance on Li's list... tuna...

2 most if not all the substances on Li's list are.... drum roll please..... 5-Lipoxygenase Inflammatory Pathway inhibitors....

    Think about it.... 8-)

  • Cool!! Pretty much advocating a vegan diet, interestingly no animal foods are listed, would be interesting to know their angiogenesis rating, meat & dairy..etc

  • @veganath i don't see a problem mixing veggies and fruits with meat :) a ballanced food diet with lots of different nutes is the key to a healthy life. (we can go into spirituality but that's all-together different topic)

  • Great presentation of the evidence on how to preevent cancer and obesity by simply adding a few key foods to our diets...

Just think of the benefits... increased value and fun in life by being healthy and weight appropriate, the savings by not having to treat cancer with costly drugs & other therapies and less of a carbon footprint by buying locally grown cancer inhibiting foods.

    Craig Hohnberger

  • Fascinating ideas, thank you.

  • This is not modern science. This is proof modern science and medicine has failed.

"Wow, eat healthy natural unprocessed foods to eliminate cancer and obesity?! Really? "

  • HE"S ASIAN BITCHS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Good Way)

  • I eat these daily, especially drink green tea, like 4 cups a day. Sweet.

  • wow awesome

  • Very informative video. Thank you so much for posting it :)

  • I think the body will always recognize immediate injuries to the body and provide the necessary capillary action required to seal off the wound. The unfortunate aspect of cancer is the fact that the body has such a difficult time recognizing it as an injury because of the acidic state of the cancer which depresses immune functioning, but doesn't prohibit blood vessel formation. The PH of cancer is different from normal human tissue (more acidic) and antioxidant rich food, like broccoli, is good.

  • Thats right, fuck you cancer!

  • GREAT TALK!!

Wouldn't anti-angiogenesis then also inhibit capillary supply to heal from wounds?

  • @MasterDemon25 I was thinking the same thing but possibly not inhibit but rather reduce.

  • @MasterDemon25 I believe he demonstrates that the inhibitors only reduce growth down to a "healthy" normal. In the beginning, he shows how the inhibitors prune back to the base state, and later, he shows how the obese mouse only loses weight down to a normal, healthy weight. So, while cancer is causing abnormal extra growth, inhibitors would prune it back to the normal state.

  • @MasterDemon25 In sufficient amounts yes but not really. Like he said the blood vessels in cancerous tumors are really poorly formed unlike the ones in out body that are well formed. So we should be able to inhibit tumors from growing blood vessels without interfering with our bodies regular functions.

  • causal therapy it is where angiogenesis is out of order by a defect. Otherwise it is supportive therapy. Maybe a necessary support. Please shed much more light on the pathophysiology. I am impressed by the perspective, be it only as a supportive prophylactive therapy .

  • Wait... wait... WAIT! I can fight cancer and lose weight by eating!? I just finished dinner but I think I'm gonna go kick cancers ass again and get a hot beach bod.

  • Another stellar Ted's video .

    Awesome !

  • is that matt groening at the far left at 06:27

  • @rokalrak

    Sure looks like him.

  • Very good talk! Diet that starves cancer should be the foundation of any treatment program. This comes from knowing real life examples.

Also, I enjoyed the unexpected, good-natured film at the end!

  • ok so how about figuring out what causes angiogenic imbalance. going full on anti-angiogenic sounds like anti-oxidants there is a point where it is bad and causes other adverse effects.

  • Question: So because animals such as horses have such a low level of cancer, does this mean that they have less harmful cancers or is it that the cancers never grow?

  • A doctor's talk is simply more convincing than the coal talk from the executive member of Shell.

  • sooo good! omg i love TED. This just inspired me to become something instead of sitting around. I'm always lazy at school, and this just showed me soo much. I can tell he spent a lot of time on this, a lot of thinking and innovation. This is who i want to become, somebody who works hard and helps others. Presenting on front of a group of intelligent people that think your idea that could change the world could actually work! This guy is a legend to me. I'm so faving and bming this video :P

  • they hug in the end :)

  • Basically.... go Veg!

  • @InvisiMan2006 your comment reads like there is a black/white choice between eating only vegetables and eating only meat.

There is no reason for not eating animals except emotional ones. The best diet still is a mixed one from various sources.

and as he said: it's not about leaving things out, it's about adding the right things to your diet.

  • @liquidminds

Actually, there are MANY reasons not to eat animals, but from a purely health-related perspective, study after study is showing us that the closer to a vegan diet we get, the healthier we are. This is not a coincidence.

We can talk about the environmental, economical, moral, spiritual and logical reasons some other time...

  • @InvisiMan2006 "there are many reasons"... yeah.... thats the only reason i get to hear all the time. just no reasons...

the health-issue depends on which studies you like to trust, the ones I read speak of a mixed diet as the best solution. lots of vegetarians i know complained about feeling weak and beeing sick all the time, vegans eat even less important stuff.

environmental issues have been debunked too. economical issues don't matter, morality is subjective and spirituality for iditots.

  • @liquidminds

Look up any of the work by Dr. Collin Campbell, Dr. Joel Fuhrman, Dr. John McDougall, Dr. Michael Klaper, Dr. Neil Barnard, Dr. Willian Harris (who wrote the book, The Scientific Basis of Vegetarianism) to find out what you apparently missed.

"Environmental issues have been debunked"... show me.

As for vegetarians complaining about feeling weak and being sick, this is often DETOX from coming off a diet of meat and dairy! Coffee drinkers and smokers go through the same thing.

  • @InvisiMan2006 lol or it's iron deficiancy and they should see a doctor immediately if they experience weakness or sickness. And don't equate stimulants with proteins, that's just silly.

  • @sdaciuk

protein and sugar induce growth factors

  • @sdaciuk

Who said anything about detox because of proteins? It's a fact that most people will experience detox symptoms when they get off an animal food diet.

Iron deficiency is more common in pregnant women and women on their menstrual cycle (most being meat-eating women). If you have an iron problem on ANY diet, then there is another cause.

  • Bravo, positive information that I can take action with!

  • Very interesting and full of insight.

  • Amazing!!

  • Brilliant speech, thank you TED for an opportunoty to see/hear all this!!

  • Please read Dr. Servan-Schreiber and compare..

  • very good and clear presentation...

  • wow

  • what a great smooth, pleasant speaker. great presentation

  • Amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Sound engineer FAIL

  • wow this idea sounds great!

    whats the catch?

  • so he is suggesting swapping cancer for coronary heart disease and erectile dysfunction?

  • @esaman still beats dying i guess...

  • @esaman No. Anti-angiogenesis foods restore the balance between the two, not take you from one to the other - he was explaining this by way the mouse - the foods couldn't take the mouse thinner than it should have been naturally.

  • Absolutely and utterly brilliant!

  • Check out vitamin B17. Its not patented or FDA approved.

  • @bradyspace for something just as effective but less toxic you could try homeopathy, or maybe crystals.

  • @traog Are you being sarcastic?

  • @tomaz2007 Yes, I despise quack "medicine".

  • @traog The evolution of living systems to maximize use of their food sources to sustain life is biologically sound, not quack medicine. Do your research!

  • @EmansGal Do you have any credible vit B17 information that shows it as anything other than quack medicine?

  • @traog Ya there was research done by a group of bears, some eskimos and a team of free ranging caribou. They all agreed. Vitamin B17 helps reduce their risk of getting cancer.

  • @bradyspace LMAO thats hilarious.

  • @traog Well I think crystals, radioactive water and Dr. Pepper, sounds like something some crackpot 'doctor' cooked up. I have apricot seeds. I like them. They are naturally grown and safe to eat. I believe cashew nuts and rasberries are safe to eat too.

I read about vitamin B17 and the dangers. I think its safer to consume than pepsi one. I lean toward the idea that cancer is just a vitamin definciency disorder like scurvy or pellagra. But, I am no Dr. Pepper.

  • @bradyspace b17 isn't a vitamin, it's a hoax dreamed up by a crackpot conman.

  • @traog It really exists! I can actually open an apricot husk and eat its seed! Its true.

While your on your wikipedia look at the health benefits of B Vitamins. Look at what slipped through on the last line.. "Reduce the risk of pancreatic cancer" Look at their list of related B vitamins. What else should the put for B17? What organic compound that exists in a wide variety of foods do you suggest they list for Vitamin B17? Notice there is no double up on vitamin numbers. Just one.

  • @bradyspace Yes it says that proponents claim that it helps fight cancer. However research doesn't backup those claims. It's a fraud.

  • yay....dark chocolate is on the list! LOL

  • @oumsker I saw that too, I imagine it means unsweetened. Sugar is yummy to many kinds of cancer, including breast cancer.

  • @oumsker well the thing is they're talking about like PURE dark chocolate because a lot of the dark chocolate people eat is STILL filled with a crapload of sugar so it wouldn't matter that much...real dark chocolate tastes like Chinese medicine: extremely bitter

  • bok choy ftw

  • We have a multi-billion dollar industry that is killing people, right and left, just for financial gain. Their idea of doing research is to see whether two doses of this poison is better than three doses of that poison.
