She ended up getting impregnated artificially and the baby ended up coming out too large and died out of her womb. My dog has been through sheer hell throughout her life, but she went through it all like a trooper <3. I still love her to this day.

This made me miss my sheltie. She was the first dog I ever had...I grew up with her. Then one day my sister didn't mean to but she let my dog out. I haven't found her since then. @YUKISNOWSETO When I was 13, I got my Sheltie Jake. He was such a beautiful sable boy. He grew to be about the size of a regular collie. Jake was so smart. He did obedience, caught a frisbee in mid-air, and drank out of the garden hose. I came home from school and let him outside. He was struck and killed by the school bus. He had been chasing the school bus prior to this incident, but the bus driver failed to let us know.

Please post a video when you get yours...I'd love to see it. MAKE SURE TO STAY AWAY FROM PET STORES AND PUPPY MILLS!! Find a reputable breeder....our first sheltie (Cocoa) was a puppy mill baby...we lost her due to kidney failure when she was ten....

I had a sheltie growing up. She was born the day before I was and we got her not to long after. She was my best friend growing up but she died at the age of 13 from cancer. We had to put her down on my birthday. But now I have another sheltie that is alot like her and I always believe that it is her.

I know how hard it is to lose them! We had a bi-black sheltie who died from renal failure. It broke our hearts! Then we were blessed with our oldest sheltie Zoe...and little Peanut who just turned two. They are our furbabies and we love them to pieces!

i remember the time we brought, my baby girl roxy ♥ home :') I remeber since i was the youngest and smalest in the family my dog, roxy, would try to "herd" me when i ran. Shelties are the best, and SO loyal. Shelties can cost anwhere from $350+..just remember...if someone is charging MORE for the females...RUN...it's a puppy mill. Both Male and Femal should be the same price.

I had a sheltie growing up. She was born the day before I was and we got her not to long after. She was my best friend growing up but she died at the age of 13 from cancer. We had to put her down on my birthday. But now I have another sheltie that is alot like her and I always believe that it is her.
Peanut is so cute and I hope you have a joyfull time with her.

I know how hard it is to lose them! We had a bi-black sheltie who died from renal failure. It broke our hearts! Then we were blessed with our oldest sheltie Zoe...and little Peanut who just turned two. They are our furbabies and we love them to pieces!

@littlesureshot07 this clip made me start to cry as i had a little sheltie puppy that i would swear was peanuts Doppelgänger but a few months ago my house was broken into at night and when they were getting off with their ill-gotten gains the shot her :((( i miss Bella so much... i couldn't bear to own another sheltie for fear of it happening again

I've had two shelties in my life and I love them more than any other dog breed. After I finish college and get settled I am getting a sheltie for myself because I love them. You have such an adorable sheltie puppy and I'm a lil jeolous, lol...

Peanut is WONDERFUL...she is my little tomboy! Check out the video under my name to see her now when we were at the river!! She wasn't really sure about swimming...Zoe had a blast, jumping and barking. Maybe next year she will have even more fun!

What a cutie. I just lost my little sheltie to renal failure. She was only 8 and it broke my heart. The music played with this video made me cry, but Peanut is such a cutie. It seems like people who have shelties just love their dogs to bits and pieces. I'm so glad I had Trinity and I miss her every single day. I cannot wait to have another sheltie. They're so good for the heart.

i remember the time we brought, my baby girl roxy ♥ home :') I remeber since i was the youngest and smalest in the family my dog, roxy, would try to "herd" me when i ran. Just to keep me in place ;) but shelties always bark! thats them! no one has to ring the dorbell anymore as soon as u walk 2 our door step she already starts barking! and when i run up my staiurs she runs up after me so fast that sometimes she trips!! :o ♥♥♥ ILuvYou --~ ROXY!!!♥♥♥

You're dog is beautiful! My Sheltie Kip recently passed away of old age; he lived a long and happy life but I miss him every day. Don't take a second of your time with Peanut for granted, she is truly a gift! Best of luck!

Oh...I am so sorry for your loss! I know how it feels! We lost our sweetie Cocoa 6 years ago. That was so heartbreaking! Still not over that hurt. Then we were blessed with Zoe...who just turned 6....and then we got our little stinker Peanut. You are right...they are truly gifts from above!

im thinking of getting a sheltie, because i live with two roommates who are away alot in a medium sized apartment, and i need a travel buddy. are they good loyal friends? how much did she cost? and i am a scuba instructor, so do they like water? they are SOOOO beautiful!

Shelties are the best, and SO loyal. Shelties can cost anwhere from $350+..just remember...if someone is charging MORE for the females...RUN...it's a puppy mill. Both Male and Femal should be the same price.
Hmmm..water....well, Peanut hates the water...Zoe loves it...so you have a 50/50 chance...LOL!

Great clip. Peanut is a sweet looking thing. All animals are something sweet, but Shetland Shelties are absolutely amazing. They're little kids with fur and will give 100% LOVE.
