Part 4: The other reason about animal rights doesn't really fly either, videos often show worst case scenarios in private farms, and try to say its what your average meat factory looks like, In truth meat factories havet to follow strict rules, an animal that has been tortured produces bad meat, bad meat sells for less, its like thinking Chevy occasionally takes hammers to their cars in the factory. All I really ask for vegans to do is wake up a little.
I've been to the 5 closest factory farms (cattle) to my house and they ALL are kept in horrific conditions. You seem to be doing just what you are accusing AR activists of doing and saying stuff without evidence. I'm willing to bet you've never been in a factory farm and you are just overcome with guilt, trying to justify your disgusting diet.
1. Actually Ive slaughtered and butchered my own meat, I went to the California Culinary Academy, and have cooked and handled meat for more than 15 years of my life. My "Disgusting" diet is a hit with people who eat the food I cook, and friends. Even Vegans. because yes I can cook....or rather prepare the stuff you people eat. I don't need to Justify anything, Science does so,
2. You know those 2 pointy teeth in your mouth? They're Cuspids or Canines they are for tearing meat. Sorry you feel so bad for being human, maybe you should go kill yourself. or if that's too extreme take a wrench to your teeth and smash them till they resemble a cows.
Don't get defensive now, dear. We have canines for the same reasons animals such as pandas and fruit bats do. For tearing chunks of food off and eating it. If you are so determined to point out "nature logic", go hunt some food with your strong legs, rip it apart with your massive claws and eat it without cooking it & see how your digestive system copes. No, please do.
My digestive system will do fine, how do I know? because I do eat raw meat, I'm not saying rare, I eat it raw, blood and all. My digestive system is accustomed to it. As for Pandas they are becoming extinct for a certain reason, besides their non existent sexual prowess they also have a poor diet, their cubs are born malnourished, they are an evolutionary failure.
Look, I don't agree with you, but the debate over whether we are "supposed" to eat meat is irrelevant at this point. Do you believe we were supposed to confine animals to tiny quarters where they can barely move, force them to breed then take away their babies?
caring too much about how my food is treated before I eat it, that's like saying "Hey we murdered your best friend but we gave him a nice massage prior" Sure I prefer it not be kicked around or beaten or let to live in its own filth, After all a happy cow is a tasty cow. As for specifically going around to find vegan videos..no, I know both the actors in this video personally, and sorry they both consume meat as well. I stand by the fourth part of my previous argument.
Actually, no. The laws that are in place to protect animals such as dogs and cats don't apply to livestock. Until they aren't treated like objects, I won't support it.
Part 3: These un-informed vegans then cause idiotic tragedies like the baby that died recently because it was given a vegan diet, parents got life in jail thank god. The only reason I could see to be a vegan is because you don't like the taste of meat, but obviously most of you do like it from the excessive imitation meats on the market.
Plenty of babies have died from malnutrition, and yes, vegan babies as well. I know a couple of vegan mums who have raised two kids each, perfectly healthy, two of them much larger than average.
You seem to have a real problem with vegans. DO you specifically go out and search for vegan videos to make insulting comments about? I'm vegan because I don't agree with the practices that are still allowed to go on in the meat industry, therefore I want to decrease supply and demand.
Part 2: Vegan's are really un-informed, they just blindly accept what their higher ups tell them, its kind of like a cult, They say they do their own research, but even this is based off studies from their own group, Humans are Omnivorous they need meat to survive naturally, if you think your getting the same needs off a pill then your an idiot, your medicating for no reason.
Part 1: the debate about pets being free is idiotic, sure not all pet owners are good to their pets, but most are, most pets live a nice care free life, they love their owners who in turn love them, a pet really isn't what you think of like the modern slavery bullshit PETA is talking about.
maybe the lack of certain nutrients that can only be received from meat makes that carrot up your ass make you feel good, doesn't it? it's obvious you forgot that this is just a movie trying to make a point. good job vegan, good job.
oh no thank you. i'll enjoy my nice brown meat. so question, i know you vegans obviously hate omnivores like me and i'm pretty sure if law permitted, you'd want to prosecute me, what about the animals that eat meat products, will you want them damned as well? what about my cat? should he be damned? should my vegan rabbits tell him to fuck off?
The question of a genius. "The vegans" don't hate "the omnivores". It's not like pirates against ninjas, if you know what i mean. Some of "the vegans" have a problem with unnecessary killing of animals, mass-stock, that stuff. When you don't need meat to survive, don't kill for it. And they have a problem with idiots who discriminate them. And some are more on the moral side, they claim that our ability to think ethical gives the responsibility to treat all that lives with respect.
Yes, but you made a wrong statement as the genius you are and i corrected it. For your question, damn yeah i HATE YOUR CAT and i'll stick it right next to the carrot.
and you're the one that says that living creatures should be protected, you idiot. you just want to protect animals that eat vegetable and their own poo like yourself, but hell if i see you going to protect animals that are obvious predators.
ah what the hell, good healthy debate though. you continue being a vegan, i support you for that since that you're right, and i'll continue supporting my vegan rabbits for their rights as well. now let me enjoy my organic coffee.
That's great, thanks for that whizkid! Give your cats a hug from me. And don't stick your coffee up your *ss, we talked about it before but that's actually NOT the way you should prepare your food. ;D
ha! i can't remember when was the last time i heard whizkid, probably from some kid show. cute. yeah make sure you take all your vitamins to make do from your lack of meat and again, careful with that carrot. =)
Whizkid, i'm even healthier than most of the people i know! I live on a very well balanced diet, and my last blood check was perfect. I hope you can take the truth , but there is no essential nutrient that is solely found in meat products. Information is everything, but who am i telling this!
but how come last time i had my check up as well my results said completely healthy too. maybe it's my well rounded diet of both meat and vegetable products that do it. and quit using whizkid, 5 year olds use that word. i'd like to think of you as someone smarter than a person that would use vocabulary children posses. oh btw, you're telling this to a person that has studied nutrition.
But whizkid sounds just as cute as you. Yeah so we can agree over the fact that you can live absolutely healthy with or without meat, right whizkid? Now, my position is, killing is really bad stuff and we should avoid it as far as possible. A civilized society shouldn't take unnecessary murder of helpless sentient creatures as acceptable. Don't you agree, dear whizkid? Now, if you stop eating meat, i'll give you a big kiss.
no thanks for the kiss, i'm married and i like eating lean meat. you're starting to send shivers down my spine now. and i do agree with you, with or without meat, a person can live healthy as long as they eat a balanced diet. now to that situation about unnecessary murders, i stand by my point about the predators against preys (animal wise).
see i'm not so much against the whole just eating vegetables since i only eat meat 2-3 times a week if i have to. i stay within the vegetarian cuisines. what bothers me is that livestock should be protected but what about the bears that eat salmon, the lions that eat gazelles? how are they viewed in this society?
I'd say - respect, love and shelter nature. That includes carnivores eating the herbivores. Nature's law, no morals, no philosophy, just a divine system that works by itself. As we have the morals and the philosophy, we should utilize it to praise and protect nature, without exploiting it. In my opinion.
animals have no morals so it's ok for them to kill each other. humans have morals so they should know better about killing the ones that do not know better. sounds like survival of the fittest to me.
so might i ask, if you see a mountain lion tackling a raccoon and killing it, how will you view the mountain lion? then the mountain lion locks eyes with you and wants to pounce right at you, will you dial the animal control's number to come protect you so they can tranquilize it and kill it for your protection?
Don't start with this polemic nonsense again. Of course i'd save my life, even if this means death to the creature that threatens me. But that's totally irrelevant to the subject, whizkid.
meh, you're a hypocrite. if it was down to the wire of saving your life and the animal, you'd be ok with the immoral and brutal tranquilizer to save your butt. it's not irrelevant because an animal is animal, predator or prey!
Whizkid, you don't understand the difference between necessary and unnecessary murder? It's a bit poor how you're looking for contradictions in my statements. You should rather give some more thought about the million of poor creatures, living in concentration camps, being brutally slaughtered, while they feel pain and fear just as we do. And noone of us needs this for survival, it's just "pleasing products".
yeah but that's where you don't see where i'm coming from. why do vegans only have the need to protect the "unnecessary" murders (which by your definition is when humans eat caged animals). it's not just pleasing products, it's just the same as you thinking you need just vegan products to survive, and omnivores thinking they need both meat and fruits and veggies to survive. no difference, in the end it all goes down to the need to live.
Omnivores who think they need meat to survive are wrong. I though you understood this so far. You're trivializing hard facts. Murder is never "right", so unless you don't have to protect your own life, abandon it. That's what i'm saying, whizkid. You don't need murder to live, unless your own life is threatened. I never saw a cow or a pig that wanted to kill me.
you should just respect other people, coz obviously you don't know how. you don't necessarily need to change everyone, don't you think you made a good enough difference by change yourself. that's your right, your choice, i respect that. i have just the same rights and choices as you and i think i pretty much make my own difference by buying organic products to oppose use of pesticides.
i'm pretty sure i can't force my friends to buy organic products but that's their choice. they can shop at supermarkets that don't offer organic choices, but that's THEIR CHOICE! i am not to judge their personality for their choice of food, nor do they do the same to me by buying organic.
Survival of the fittest doesn't mean "The wolf is stronger than the rabbit, so the rabbit dies and wolf lives". If it was this way, rabbits were already extinct. It rather means that the genetical development of one species is provided because the "fitter" dna guarantees highest survival for the individual, thus higher chance for reproduction of the fitter dna. It's not "Wolf eats all rabbits".
ah but i was just simply replying to your comment of humans having the ability to be moral and philosophical and nature's law is just a divine system that works with itself. survival of the fittest has something to do with morality too you know, not just evolution on its own.
Oh ok. I feel like i should give you an honest answer. You can't ask "the vegans" what they think about feeding meat to their pets, because "the vegans" all have different opinions.
I personally have no pets cause i think that animals should live in the wilderness. If i had a cat anyway, i'd let her go and catch her own meat (mice or whatever) but i'd buy only little standard cat food because the mass-stock-keeping of animals is really bad stuff and more gruesome than anything you can imagine. I'd feed her lots of vegetables, but of course i'd always check if she's 100% healthy and stuff.
oops, sorry, you didn't say protected, you said respected. you don't respect all living creatures you fucking moron. you're discriminatory even against animals and you're a damn a hypocrite too.
i've been a vegan half my life and i'm dating someone who'd eat veal, if offered. i don't prefer that he eats meat, but i'm not after his morals...wink, wink. no really, i don't care. i do care about animals, but hell, people suck and i know that.
What a perfectly accurate depiction of a meat eater. Insensitive, bloodthirsty and arrogant. With an typical American film ending,-the protagonist wins.
If you don't like meat fine, eat veggies, they taste fine before without you fucks going and trying to make bacon out of it. The real truth is Vegans are just fucks who cant cook for shit, and vegan "chefs" are nothing more than overpaid gardeners with no more skill than your average illegal alien with a pair of fiskars.
I don't even understand what your talking about. How could being vegan make you unable to be a good cook? Out of all the things to get rhiled up about why hate vegan chefs?
you can't seem to take a joke. it's not meat that makes you fat, it's sugars and carbs. and there'd be vegan fast food places, if it could possibly catch on.
tsk, tsk. don't you know that mass-farmed cows are usually very fatty, and pumped full of antibiotics and steroids?
the chemicals bring about cancer, natural meat doesn't. also, you can get fat on anything, but it's the sugars, carbs, and fats that get you. lean meat won't cause you to be fat.
I dated a non-vegan... Never Again... ugh... NEVER AGAIN!!! haha plus... Vegans can eat a lot more than just peanut butter and Jelly sandwichs with Plain Silk Soy Milk!
"a vegan would never be dumb enough to date a flesh eater" I second that. I might fuck a carno chick, but I'd never be in a steady relationship with one.

Yet we'll still be able to listen to yours as were bombarded with fast food restaurants and obese people everywhere we look.

you can't seem to take a joke. it's not meat that makes you fat, it's sugars and carbs. and there'd be vegan fast food places, if it could possibly catch on.

No meat makes you fat drake, ever check the Nutrition facts on ground beef. Meat is also the leading cause of cancer, heart attack, and strokes

tsk, tsk. don't you know that mass-farmed cows are usually very fatty, and pumped full of antibiotics and steroids?
the chemicals bring about cancer, natural meat doesn't. also, you can get fat on anything, but it's the sugars, carbs, and fats that get you. lean meat won't cause you to be fat.

yeah..I don't think I could date a flesh eater either.

I might fuck a carno chick, but I'd never be in a steady relationship with one.

you can't change the world but you can make a mark

you can go ahead and make your mark, but some eight year old in Minnesota will think it's a lemon snow cone.
and that's not good for anyone.
