Are you kidding? If birth control were available in pill form I'd be downing it like skittles. I asked for a vasectomy but my wife wanted the IUD. So lets get off the high horse tempus and realize not all women are militant feminists that think life is unfair due to their chromosomal assignment.
I was told by my doctor that there have been several possible hormonal birth controls for men but no men will take them so they end up not being tested or made available.
I think we should come up with something where men have to do this, like insert a tiny thing into their urethra and have it go through to their ball sack. I don't get why women have to go through this pain?
I have to say, I had a TERRIBLE experience with the Mirena IUD. The worst pain of my life, was the moment it was inserted. I bled, screamed, cried my eyes out, and couldn't get off the hospital bed for almost an hour. I was in intense pain for 2 weeks and still in pretty bad pain for a pain following. It's 4 months later now, and I'm scheduled to take it out. It is not for everyone.
