Most recording application have had this for A LONG TIME - as most have pointed out. Nuendo had this in version 1, and if I recall correctly Cubase VST (that would be 12 year ago) had some form of clip gain/fades.
I think any time a company adds a feature that most have had this long, should think twice about promoting as a "NEW FEATURE"
This is some bullllllllll!!!! why they couldn't put that in PT 8? This is bananas and I don't want to go to 10. smh this is way late other programs had this smh
I was trained to use Pro Tools so I don't have any positive or negative criticisms to say except it's a shame that PT is behind others (according to others). They're finally smoothing things out and bringing more ease of use to its GUI.
@44danoc Agreed. But Pro Tools has a multitude of ways to do things. Yeah that's one form of flexibility but apparently not enough. Avid has other products that it's developing but this is your golden child.
pro tools bite studio one pro, clip gain? please; click on any event in st1 and you can adjust the volume, pt 32 bit float, st1 64 bit plus unlimited tracks, in a couple a years st1 will run the place, pt playing catch up.

@VanTX89 I agree they are behind and now catching up. I don't want to move from 8.0.5 this should of been in it!
