I would like to know who that is on guitar. I know Roger Waters went on to play with some amazing guitarists like Jeff Beck for Amused to Death and Eric Clapton for The Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking. It's pretty great that all five members of the Floyd had very good solo careers; I personally like the two Syd Barrett albums better than Piper;look up Fictitious Sports byMason. I mentally categorize the last two Floyd albums with Waters as solo albums; similarly DB+ML are Gilmour solo albums to me.

"Wet Dream was self-produced and Wright wrote all the songs himself, except Against The Odds, which was co-written with his then-wife, Juliette."
@TGram29 Yes, I know. I'm not saying Mr Wright ripped off one of his own compositions (or that he might've), I'm just saying that this song *reminds* me of "The Great Gig in the Sky" in terms of the mood; I think the mood of this song matches "Gig"'s, that's all.
richard wright really was the icing on the cake when it came to pink floyd, things just didn't sound the same when he started taking a backseat to rogers and gilmour's fame contest
will you people quite with your sappy same old shit about him "dieing" Some of you talk like you personally knew the guy, which I'm sure is highly not the case. Oh and quite with that generic "RIP RICK!" You just sound like a jackass, because legends never die. Talk about his music, not his "death".
Richard Wright, the pure and lonely gentle soul in the heart of Pink Floyd...the perfect friend for David Gilmour and apparently by-passable figure for Roger Waters.
@ Back2TFuture I thought this song and most of this album was actually about Richard's crumbling marriage, although the last verse points more closely to you're interpretation. Thanks for making me look at this song in a slightly different light.
i must have been asleep this past while. didnt even realise richard wright had passed away til now. rip. i had his lp yrs ago and mislaid it. will defo be looking it up and playing it again. brill stuff. anyone that had anything to do with pink floyd is a genius in their own right.
Yes he was. That means someone is sitting on the material right now. We can look for another Richard Wright album in the future of all the songs he recorded before he passed.
Rick never received the right value while genius of music. He was all the time hidden in the shadows of Gilmour and Roger. This song express how magnificent he was. Sincerely it touches my heart. R.I.P RICK.
Such a forgotten album. This track and Holiday mark my youth - so sorry to hear of this great artists passing. Just wish I could buy this album in the UK for a reasonable price.
ChiefLongstick: Oh, wow. I envy you. I remember the first time I began discovering their solo works. Being the fanatic that I am, after I had every album I just wanted more and more... so then I realized how much solo work they all had. At first, I was reluctant to go out and buy it because I didn't think it would sound like Pink Floyd...and I was partly right, but still... all of their solo works contain a little piece of Pink Floyd, imho.

I went into an Oxfam music shop and for the first time today, I bought a vynil. It was this album which was going for £5.99. I saw it in the window and I just had to buy it (along with Animals and Dark Side).
