I agree with you. It is transition right now and I think it will take awhile to get it fine tuned. And as far as what Terry is doing. He is singing and leading the choir at his Church. He has a website, so you can go there and check it out.

i think it's gonna be awesome.. i'm sure they'll work it out somehow (of having 2 tenors). i'm sad that guy and marshall are leaving, but at the same time i'm excited for the new group ^_^

Wes CAN'T leave. David will push the vocals high, and English can't carry that lead. Wes is there for the long haul I think.

its not odd wes is just there...mark will be the baritone, mike, david and bill is the group, wes will more than likely get out eventually he was caught in a bad place...God bless

I'm a very excited to have Mark and David back. I hate to see Marsh go, and I'm very unsure of Michael English's voice... I don't exactly see what he'll bring to the group.

Guy and Marsh were the Spirit of GVB for years now. Hurts to see them go. Perfect one would be David P., Guy, Marsh, and of course Bill. Mark clowns around too much for me.

Thanks for the info...although I don't think anyone but the band really knows the reasons why members come and go and what terms they are on...of course gaither is going to say it was all on good terms. glad david phelps is back. if michael english can sing half as good as he used to it should be quite a group

Glad Guy Penrod is going solo but can not imagine the Gaither Vocal Bamd without him either! Marsh too and I wish them both good luck on their new ventures!

I think the same! I cannot imagine GVB without Guy and Marsh! They did fit so very well in the group! The new group includes stars, but I just loved the calm quitness Marsh and Wes brought to the group. Marsh has such a beautyful voice, and his singing is so true and earnest!Guy once said, that he was "not in a hurry to leave the town" and I appreciated his faithfulness and steadyness in faith and in GVB.

I'm really sad to see them leave!

I was hoping you would give your opinion on the new lineup and give the correct info. It is amazing how gossip starts on YouTube Re- firing and fights! Just not true.

I heard a clip of a radio interview that Bill Gaither did on Thursday. Very positive about what is happening. Admits to getting older and is excited to have this bunch of guys with him. Maybe that is the reason for the extra person? Michael has great a testimony! Mark has great humour! David knows his music! We will be Blessed!!!

Thanks for your report on the changes. Changes are inevitable. I first heard the GVB with the last set of singers and was immediately touched and impressed. I hope Guy and Marsh are happy and will be blessed outside the group, but I will miss them and I don't even want to think of the new group, sorry if I sound rude. I love Mark Lowry, though and I think he will be great addition again. Thanks again and God bless.

Thanks Rick for the latest on GVB. I hate to see Guy leave, but I have been looking for him to go solo for a long time. It is GREAT to hear that David Phelps is back. In my opinion, he is one of the greatest tenors ever to step up to the mic. Also a BIG Michael English fan here. This group will have loads of versatility.
