@Rhysandrews88 i know it as overdubbing. i use that technique mainly with guitars to get a more hot stereo track without oversampling. i record around 4 separate guitar tracks and pan them out certain percentages. comes out real nice and even.

Basically what Tom is doing on his vocals that he did from Enema, TOYPAJ, and self-titled is he's doubling his vocals. Meaning, he records the vocals one time through, then goes back and sings it again trying to make as close as possible to the first take. Amazing technique I've actually experimented with. It makes the song's vocals bigger.

yea its not auto tune hes layering his voice.. it sounds more like layers than auto-tune. if your gonna make an assumption. at least make an educated guess based on what you hear. and that's the sound of 2 of his voices not auto-tune. auto tune doesn't double your voice it corrects pitch. that's why they call it auto-tune

no guys, its something called melodyne and vocalign. They use melodyne for pitch correction and after he dubs the vocals they use a plugin called vocalign which aligns the waveforms together to get a nice vocal track.
