  • I saw the film twice, and I discovered new points of views, new small litle pieces, its so well done...a master piece with an incredible cast.

  • i dont entirely understand the end of this film

  • The "point" is that the film is "unresolved" - in a way. Sister Aloysius "won" by the priest being moved to a different parish; but the priest also "won" (wasn't adversely affected) by being given a promotion in the process! But the TRUTH of what actually happened was not revealed. There is no way from the movie to really know if it were true or not. That's how many things in real life are - we can't be totally sure.

  • at the end sister Aloysius said his resignation was his confession so we're pretty sure he did it (because if he didnt do it he could of proven his innocence), but her doubts that she cries over in the end are her doubts in her faith and the whole church structure and even in God because evil kind of one in the end because the monsignor even knowing what he was accused of still give him a "promotion". great film though saw it three times its one of my favorites

  • "You just want things to be resolved so you can have simplicity back "

Meryl Streep, I could watch her read out of the phone book and be moved.

  • Does anyone knows what the music from 2:30 to 3:04 is ?

Or where I can find it ?

Loved the movie by the way :)

  • you can go look up the soundtrack and find the song that way

  • what happened to the boy ?

  • You're never really sure if he was molested by the priest OR if they have a kinship because they are both gay. That's why the movie is called doubt.

  • This has Meryl Streep AND Amy Adams in, how can it be bad in any way shape or form? i cant WAIT to see this, i love both of them

  • i hope this movie shows the realistic side of things cause in reality when you mess with black peoples children in this nasty way, you dont live long enough to argue you case instead you pedos would get a free one way ticket to meet your creator.

  • Stop stereotyping!!

  • There are some realistic side to this story as to what happens to children.(Don't want to give anything away because of the great performanes by all) However, this boy's family makes it difficult to resolve this conflict.. However, realize this story supposedly took place during 60s. So figure it out.

  • obviously you need to get a better understanding of black people. dont talk unless you know what you are saying.

  • Brilliant performance by Meryl Streep of muckrakes and priest's sermon about the pillow is typical of the low mantellity of the muckraker - overall the picture is brilliant and disturbing - superb acting ***** Gene

  • Anything with Magical Meryl in it just has to be seen!

  • Looks like this movie was done old school style. I might have to rent his when it comes out on DVD. How was her accent in that movie about the dingo taking her baby?

  • In a word- painful. Lindy Chamberlain is a New Zealander, with an unfortunate whine. Miranda Otto played her much better.

  • Meryl Streep and PSHoffman??? I can't wait

  • "i will fight you"

    "you will loose!"

omg i love meryl streep! shes amazing in every single way there is!

    want to see this too!

    x

  • saw it 4 times...during this confrontation between the 2 titans...more diva meryl...i almost dropped dead...the tension was bursting! really gasping for air!

  • Can not wait to see this
