Rosie Clooney is a local celebrity where I live. There's even a Rosemary Clooney Museum just across the river in Kentucky. Her rendition of "Pennies From Heaven" is what inspired me to learn that song.

She was the best. If you have not heard it try to get a copy of the album "Blue Rose" where she sings the lead solos in Duke Ellington arrangements...with Duke's orchestra. There never was anybody like her and I like a lot of "girl" singers. She set the
