  • 0:15 what's the 8 bit gaming music? Title?

  • So... did Billy Mitchell ever do a one million+ publicly or are dubious VHS tapes still his claim to fame?

  • just watched your story on netflix, keep it up steve! billy mitchell is suck a prick...and his little friends have never seen A vagina.....what a sad bunch of losers...

  • what's the channel of that chick? I wanna see more video of her.

  • i love the tune thats played in the end, could someone tell me which game this is from, was it galaga?

  • My favorite arcade game is a tie. Donkey Kong and Mario Bros.

  • Does anyone remember the 1984-'85 tv gameshow that was shown on ABC Saturday mornings(around 11:00am).It was like ,"Wheel of Fortune" & "Who wants tobe a Millionare".The host would ask players(3 of them)questions and they play arcade games. The last 2 would face off eachother at the end and the last player would play an arcade game for a higher score.

  • @TheXtro101 Starcade. They finally brought that back on G4 back in the early 2000's. My homies and I used to watch that all the time. Unfortunately it's off the air now. The old ref is right. Games these days lack the purity of the older ones. I am still trying to get to level 22 on DK. Hopefully I'll make it there someday. All the new games are easy. The nes and about halfway into the snes were the last true years of gaming. What makes a game fun is having to expand your thinking. Strategizing.

  • @Luigi84289 (1st of all, thanks 4 your reply)."Starcade?",just looked it up(don't remember if that was the name of the gameshow, but I think it was the spinoff of that show,"The Video Game",aired in 1984 on regular network tv.I was only a 11-12 yo kid watching it).If "Starcade" was shown back about 10 years ago during the early 2000's,it must of been repeats 'cuz the show originally aired back in 1982-'83(anyway,thx).

  • @TheXtro101 Yeah they were repeats. It was nice to see all the classic arcade games on TV again.

  • i love galaga

  • I enjoy beat them ups but I enjoy any game for the challenge =)

  • WIEBE FOR DONKEY KONG HIGH SCORE 4 LIFE

  • My two favorite classics, Rampage and Frogger.

  • Woa, that footage of Steve playing DK freaked me out for a second. At first, I didn't realize they were playing the video in reverse. 4:19

  • Super Donkey Kong? POSER!!!

  • 0:12 MIKE MOZART TOY REVIEWS! :P

  • Man that woman is definitely cute! I would live a happy life if I could ever be married to a woman as hot as that. Of course I am not an Alpha male so that is just not going to happen. Even if I have the DK3 record.

  • Ms. Pac-Man and Galaga. ant it is cool cuz they have one machine with both games

  • cool. I grew up with this stuff. I remember my local bowling alley as of today; still has these games. My 2 fav classics where the Simpsons and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (all originals).

  • @bubbaXzone I was thinking dat 2

  • Nice teeth you dumb cunt

favourite games are zelda - a link to the past, chrono trigger, smw.

  • Check out the iPhone app 80s Arcade Games! It's in the Top 50 Entertainment apps!

  • My favorite game is Pac-Man, and I am the 6th person to achieve a verified perfect score on an original arcade unit, which I own. I have achieved this feat more than once. I have held the record for the fastest perfect Pac-Man.

I am also the second person to achieve a perfect score on Pac-Man with the speed up chip(turbo).

    Thank you,

    David Race

  • I used to like to skip class, get baked and play Joust,Sinistar and Dragon's Lair.

I'd play centipede because at this particular pool hall/arcade,Centipede had a hole under the screen, you could reach in and click as many credits as you want for free.

  • the most important thing hasnt been said yet: fuck, the host is hot. i'd certainly like to play a game of donkey kong with her, if you know what i mean..

  • @breakingdecency41 I WAS THINKING THE EXACT SAME THING!

  • @breakingdecency41 well said!

  • @breakingdecency41

Um, she might be....if she were pale and thick. Nice mouth, though.

  • @breakingdecency41 Walter Day's a dish too!

  • Ms. Pac man because My Dad Maybe A genus

  • What is unique is that back in the 70's & 80's during the prime of classic gaming, one simply couldn't download a game to a console (or even a phone). To enjoy a game, you either had to have a LOT of quarters or actually own a $2000 machine. One could get "some" relief if you owned a home console. But back then, technology wasn't where arcade quality was (ColecoVision came somewhat close). Todays technology for home consoles would meet or exceed anything that could be released in the arcade.

  • Im 19 and was born in the PsX/N64 Era........ I still have fond memories of playing tekken crash bandicoot golden eye mario 64 etc....

  • actually if u were born after 70 there is a good chance u didnt grow up in the arcades and most likely played the home consoles. if u were born say 60 to 70, that was primetime for the video arcade for teens.

  • robotron 2084 was and still is cool

  • Check the free Robotron 2084sh online. Once you get about 8 gun upgrades it's intense

  • As a kid I was possessed by video games. I rember for christmas my mom got me Donkey Kong and I was playing day and night. After the decline of arcade games I was like 14 or 15 and I got an NES which redefined my gaming experience all over again. And so my favorite arcade game is DONKEY KONG!

  • Comment removed

  • donkey kong is hard

  • Galaga and Donkey Kong for me

  • I give Steve props I mean he's just a regular guy going out to try to kick some ass in a favorite game to do something for himself that no one can help him with, and he achieved it. Mr. dick aka Billy Mitchell quit trying to be better then Steve. leave the world record score to Steve, then Billy quit, just quit!

  • Gradius, Rally X, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

  • im trying to figure out this amazing arcade game back in the day where you fight 1 on 1 with armour on and with swords/daggers and when you get hit(top to bottom)you lose small parts of your armour instead of energy l(ike the latter games)that game was awesome!!!!!!!!!

  • im one of Wiebe's students and we all love him. GO MR. WIEBE. btw Billy Mitchell is such a lying piece of shit. Im gonna find him and rip his fucking beard off with my bare hands.

  • Donkey Kong is so sexy. Sadly the first time I ever played Donkey Kong was in Donkey Kong 64 where you unlock the game. I had seen it before, heard about the game many times. But I had never actually played it. But I soon thought that Donkey Kong was WAY better than Donkey Kong 64.

  • I always hated all those old games, they are extremely difficult. my generation was nintendo, so Super Mario Bros was what I played over and over again. I could never figure out the maze on the last level though, I was not that smart a kid.

  • pacman for sure

  • Originally named 'PUCKMAN' - as the title character is a yellow puck (like ice hockey) but the first cabinets sent to the USA were "altered" by saucy youngsters so the P looked like an F.

So they re-named it PACMAN in the US and susequent countries. It is still known as Puckman in Japan.

"Have you played F##KMAN at the arcade?" still funny though...

  • lol walter day is a real "nerd master".... for arcade gaming nostalgia he is something like gary gygax was for Dungeons and Dragons.

  • gygax invented D&D - walter day invented absolutely nothing so i don't get the comparison...

  • Tetris, Paper Boy, etc. I was born in '85 so I came to some of these games by watching older siblings play them more than just myself giving them a try, but those two were some of the greats. XD
