Just a note for you all saying you want to hear him play. Mark is moving away soon, the coffee house he usually plays in front of closed the other night, he did the open mic on the last night. I've known Mark a very long time and his music has helped to shape my life and the lives of the people I love.

If you want to hear him, scurry up there, before he's moved. Its worth the trip. And show him you like it, I'm sure the extra money is more than welcome for his trip.

Seems like a nice person. If you're ever in Chicago and want to hear buskers, try the Red Line subway stops in the Loop. The Lake stop always seems to have someone with a guitar there. One time I heard an old black guy do the Rolling Stones "Beast of Burden" on acoustic guitar. Buskers are amazing.

We have an awesome music scene here and people like Mark are part of why our town is awesome.
