  • Best alternative is to email Steve (the player in the video) - steve-at-speakeasvintagemusic-DOT-com.

  • IM upset that speakeasy has not yet put up a video of their classic 2 rotor speaker yet....there are also people who prefer the original set up as well...and i would like to hear it before thinking of buying one.

  • I know, me too - wish we had the time. I'd love to make similar demos for the MkII and the Compact (both 2 rotor models) as well as the AMA, but there simply aren't enough hours in the day.... :(

  • Wow, cool. That really speaks for itself.

  • the leslie looking thing is really creeping my out

  • Wonderful! I do have a question about that speaker.. is that just one horn I see in it?

  • The "Classic" rotary cabinet (technically I can't use the "L" word) *appears* to have two horns, but the 2nd one is blocked off and only used to balance the horn when it spins. Our's has a single speaking horn too, but the counter weight is adjustable - this allows for more accurate balance and compensation for the removable diffuser. The "Classic" one was sometimes cut off for a different sound - ours you can choose and switch back and forth.

  • Nice! What model is that black one behind you?

  • BC as I recall, belonged to a customer who brought it in for overhaul (It was already finished in black)

  • Alright! Sounding good, play it!!

  • Well done: What a set up indeed:
