This is a really good tribute, you should feel good inside for making such a great tribute. It makes me remember the times when I thought about these man daily when I wanted to become a pilot which was a good feeling for me. Thanks :)
And the Australians too. In fact a few Australian divisions played an important part in stopping the German spring offensive of 1918, a last desperate attempt to win the war before enough American troops arrived to tip the scales and thus make the war unwinnable in even the most optimistic scenario.
The Canadians did very well in Paschendeale too. Quite the muddy hell.
I feel that in every war it seems that pilots are viewed as being above the blood and mud on the ground. Still I dont see their job as any different from the soldier on the ground, killing their opponent. Still their airplanes had more colours then the infantrymen in the trenches.
that's interesting. I agree with you, the RFC never gets a mention and it's a great shame. My great grandfather fought in the trenches from 1914 to 1918, but always wanted a transfer to the RFC. He eventually got it, but by this time the war had ended!! Great video.

My Great Grandfather was an American pilot in WW1. Survived the war and was stabbed to death in 1926 in a Chicago mugging.

Well done! These brave men need to be remembered and honored as well as all those who served in WW 1. It's overlooked far too often.
Thanks for posting this video!
