  • someone asked how to take bubbles out of soap, I seen you bang the mold to get bubbles out but you can also spray 99% alcohol over the full mold. that helps

  • @hairsplash4147 I'd rather not use anything like alcohol.

  • I can't believe I had such beautiful soaps! Wow!

  • DOESNT ANYONE GIVE ANY SOAP BASE RECIPES AWAY ANYMORE GOD IT IS LIKE A SECRET AND I DONT THINK SOME OF THEM DONT KNOW HOW TO MAKE THEM THEY ARE BUYING THEM OR GETTING THEM FOR FREE AND SAYING THIS. I BEEN ASKING FOR A BASE FOR WEEKS AND CANT GET ONE NO WHERE. AND OFFERED A CONTEST TOO.

  • uuurrrr kinnnddaaaa wiieerrrddd..............I LOVE IT!!!!!

  • cool

  • you have a lot of soaps there and what is the name of your etsy shop cause i would be more than happy to check it out!

  • @theglittergirl9 nancytoday

  • Hi Nancy Could you tell me how to remove the air bubbles in HP soap? I tapped

my mold very hard and still have a lot of air bubbles in it.

  • @123mootoo Nope. I dunno.

  • Do they recycle the cans at food center where you get your dehydrated foods?

  • @Oreocremerocks No they recycle them at the dump.

  • Do you have a website where I can buy your soaps?

  • Hi,Do you sell your soaps on Ebay???I would love to try them!

  • @phoenixrising2012 On etsy, under nancytoday. I think the address is world wide web, etsy, nancytoday,

  • es muy desoldenada para trabajar

  • @jivaritox es verdad pero me ha dado cuenta que las personas creativas son desordenadas. :)

  • I made a batch of lavender/Aniseed CPOP and Nancy you are so right. The 2 essential oils have an absolutely AMAZING smell when blended. I think it may be my absolute favorite soap batch out of the 50 or so I have made!

I recommend everyone try this one it really is an intoxicating scent!

  • nancy- i would like to purchase soap but i don't want to create a etsy account. can i still purchase soap i can send you payment through the mail. i trust that when you receive payment you will send me the soap. jen

  • You have so many varieties! How long have you been making soap? I love the hot processed the best, too. And if I had to pick a favorite scent, it would definitely be lavender.

  • if you want a really high lathering bar of soap, add about 20% coconut oil to your batch. canola oils don't don't create great lather but the addition of coconut(teamed with castor) high persistant lather!

  • My friends husband made some awesome molds for us! The sides come off so it is super easy to get the soap out, and then we attach the sides to a different bottom and BAM soap cutter! He did a great job we just told him what size we wanted out bars and the average size of a 1lb mold.

  • I think I'm going to rebatch that castile soap I made. It did end up turning mostly white once it dried out a bit, but I don't really like castile soap. It's pretty slimy and not bubbly at all. I think I'm going to add some coconut oil and castor oil and try to rebatch it like you do!

  • Your home has such a lovely, homey, cozy, country feel to it!

  • Hi Nancy! I enjoy seeing all of your soaps. I wanted to tell you that I found some homemade soap at the thrift store the other day for only 75 cents!! It was from a place called Green Blessings. The scent was lavender & rosemary with a touch of patchouli. I am saving up to buy some of yours one of these days. It'll be hard to choose with all of the scents you got going on! -Sarah

  • Hi Nancy! i love the hats you made they are so pretty and look wonderful on you......

How did you do with your selling sosps from your house , i remember before Christmas you had just started selling them and put an ad in the local paper, how did it turn out, did you get alot of customers? are you still selling them at home?

    take care,

  • Thanks about my hats! Nobody came to my grand opening. But it's okay because at least I exist now! Grin. I am stocking up to sell them in the markets this summer!

  • You must spend soo much time canning! I would love to start canning but we don't get a lot of fresh veggies around here. By the time we buy them in the store they're almost gone bad. I think I'm going to start my own veggie garden this summer, but I have no idea if it'll actually grow. In my area the warmest it gets in the summer time is around +18 or so. :(

  • Have you ever noticed how the grass grows in the spring and fall but not in the heat of summer. Your garden will grow best at that temperature. It's amazing how well it works.

  • geez move over here , its around 42 c today and maybe going to get hotter. it took a long time for the heat to really get here this year but its hit now.

if it gets +18 in summer , what is it in winter?

    max neg 3 here overnight.

  • Oh, about -35 in the dead of winter!

  • -3 in dead of winter for us + or -, thats the overnight low. but now its probable hit 43.c at 2pm. humidity is actually 6%. going outside is like opening the oven door. and guess who has to go to work. oh well.

  • It's about -32 here tonight. BRRRRRRR!!!!!! This is pretty much as cold as it gets here.

  • Hello Nancy!! Did you see the Note that Was in the Soap Mold? Have A Great Day!! ~Erin

  • Yup! It was a lovely note! Grin. I love you!

I hafta get down there and round up your soaps. I'm bein' really slothful!
