1) It is possible to prevent nuclear detonation if shot down nuke before it will activate it's mechanism. USA missile defense doing exactly this thing. There are more ways how to prevent nuclear explosion, but technology needed for it, does not exist right now. I know of other ways how to stop nuclear reaction, when it has activated it's mechanism.
2) Solar powered warships and aircraft yet not exist. It is possible to create these.
