I believe in the cause and all but the Catholic church causes people to commit suicide all the time like making gay feel bad and such, so why arent they being protested too? (this is a real question not some brat being a... brat)
The Guy Fawkes mask represents anonymity. In the movie V for Vendetta, V (and his supporters) use the mask to hide their identities from the government so that no-one will know who they are. Same thing here. People wear the mask so that the Church of Scientology can't nail them with their Fair Game policy.
well that is a common misconception. The average age is probably about 22 - 25. So depending on what you label 'kids'...
Besides, don't listen to these guys - listen to those people who WERE THERE. Listen to the ex-Scientologists. They will tell you things that will change your mind.
We all knew that the numbers of last February couldn't be sustained, but when you compare what it cost Anonymous as opposed to what it cost The CoS, it is apparent who made out better because of the protests. As always, infighting and boredom have taken their toll on the movement. However, there will always be a diehard few like you lot that we keep on, like little pockets of uranium. I think it is only a matter of time before there is an influx of newfags that cause PC to flare up once more.
I guess all I have to say after seeing that video was wow. Its quite amazing to see how far and long the protests have gone since february. The protests continue to be a thorn in the side of scientology, and with time maybe one day the Co$ will be dismantled. Gentlemen, Godpseed and keep up the good work.
Thanks for the support - i have to say one of the reasons i keep covering these protests is because it is fascinating how determined these guys are!
Whatever the detractors want to say, those who are still protesting aren't going ANYWHERE, and they are effective. It's quite an amazing thing to see, considering how it emerged just out of the aether that is the internet.

Anon...I like your cute little vids. and all. Thanks,it gives me something to do while drinking a nice glass of wine. But the COS has not changed a thing since you started your campaign.Overall I'd say you whole plan is a BIG FAT failure.
Actually, if you've been keeping an eye on things there have been some big things happening.
Some of the major players (like really major...top 100 types) in Scientology have recently left, helped along by the added pressure from Anon. Hundreds more lesser members have left.
The media reports on Scientology have increased ten-fold - all of them negative towards CoS.
Germany, France, Greece, and other countries are starting to clamp down hard.
Not to mention that literally hundreds of thousands of flyers have been handed to the public, which is a pretty major act of information dissemination - especially if you consider that for each flyer that is read, two or three more people hear about it word-of-mouth.
The public is getting clued in, big-time. Inside reports say that stats are at the lowest they have EVER been.
You obviously enjoy feeling right...but, in this case, you aren't.
i actually think that that attitude is kind of missing the point - dim-wit.
The point, according to Anonymous, was not to 'change the policies' - it was to 'systematically dismantle' the CoS. The most effective way to do that is to remove revenue streams and members. Another effective way to do that would be to inform as many public as possible.
Ergo their 'whole plan' is actually seeing quite a bit of success...the exact opposite of your 'overall' original point. Idiot.
Furthermore - nobody ever said this was going to take only nine months. What these guys have done in less than a year is nothing short of astounding.
You may have some kind of vested interest in them 'failing'...but the fact is, they aren't. It was never supposed to happen overnight, and the fact that so much has happened speaks volumes for the effectiveness of this campaign.
If you can't see why i was responding (and there are at least three reasons...see if you can figure them all out ;P), then your loss.
On my vids however, i do love correcting people who are just plain wrong. If you had something constructive to say we could have had more of a discussion - and believe me i've spoken out against certain elements of Anonymous before myself - but as it was, you're just a troll...and not a very good one at that.
re anonvscos: tin foil hat or not when i read posts like yours i just see SCILON TLKIN PLZ IGNORE... fact is if you want to drop out then go ahead, you didnt sign a contract, your not obliged to demonstrate how phenomenal your apathy is. even if theres just 5 of us protesting more than 0 orgs every month we're winning. so i'll politely so fuck you and ill see you in the chans.
Another great video Shahate, I wish I'd got there earlier now and been part of the funeral procession. Your video really catches the feel, both the lulz and the srsbuz of yet another death within the cult.
Once again, another fantastic video. I loved leading the funeral procession today, it was a lot of fun, and although I have such lulz at the protest, I'm also in it for the long run, till the cult is nothing moar than ashes.
Well...if those hundreds were effectively doing something else i might agree with you more here. Although it has to be said that these guys know how to have fun and are great to talk to - they actually have some social skills :P
But - it seems to me that the people left are the ones who can actually walk the walk...they don't just talk themselves up with no results.
The wonderful thing is that there are lots of people who just disagree with you.
i seem to remember that EVERYONE made a 'promise' at the beginning to keep going until Scientology was brought down...it's interesting to see just who can keep their word and who is full of s**t.
It has to be asked too - if you hate the protests so much, why watch the videos? There's plenty of other stuff out there more along your interests.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
lots might be 50, that's less than 1 in 6 that started off...
I made no promise, I enjoyed the protest party, and frankly the first 3 protests were a right laugh and I had a great time eating mudkip cake and chanting.
Like many, I just wanted to have fun with fellow ebaums users, and i did. but stuff like the long boring speeches were just tl;dr, and ruined the fun for the hundreds that chose to drop out.

Your opinion seems to be felt by many...but it's interesting to see that nothing has replaced the 'party' protests as of yet. When something else actually happens, you might win back some credibility...but until then, no credit goes out for doing nothing you know ;)
As for the bandwagon - everybody joined a bandwagon here...that was kind of the point wasn't it?
Anyway, keep on watching my vids if you enjoy them - because i'll keep making them!

We brought the lulz, and then faggots insisted on reading long and uninteresting speeches. I'm sure their voice sounded like music to ther own ers. Sadly, it didn't to the rest of the crowd...
Also, shouting at a wall sn't very fun once you've done it half a dozen times...
As for the foreigners, if I cared, I'd be moking them too on their own videos.
Are you getting it now scientology? No matter how much black PR you spread, no matter how much you harass your critics, no matter how many teenagers you have arrested you cannot shut Anonymous down!
