  • 1080p here boys.

  • Thats a point one could watch over and over again as its one of the rare ones.

  • More skillful than Messi.

  • What a Point!

  • that was brilliant, not as good as fentons goal in 87 against Limerick though

  • unreal score

  • okay this is a total long shot, but if there is a girl called nicole from connecticut watching this that was on Chat roulette a second ago....comment back!

  • Kevin Broderick was a great hurler. Unfortunately he suffered badly from injuries and never quite fulfilled his promise. Left some fantastic moments behind him though.

  • Who's the co-commentator?

  • It's Cyril Farrell. He was the manager of Galway in all through the 80's

  • One of the great points scored in Croker

  • wat a player

  • He was a great player.

  • What a score!!!

  • unreal point!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

  • they'd be da kinda points id be scoring ;-)

  • Yeah, drinking pints while watching it...

  • cmon GALWAY!!

  • I remember seeing a cartoon in a primary school Irish book depicting a girl hurling the ball over the boy's head, á lá Broderick in this clip. Life imitating art.

  • just made up his mind and went for it- outrageous point

  • what a MASTER!

  • he flicked the ball over eamonn kennedy..christ my granny would be able to beat him in a race

  • That was a great game. Probably eclipsed by the high scoring Gal KK match since then but undeservedly so. Lots of great scores in this game, hardiman the gal half back got a cracker of a point and if memory serves, gal were down to 14 men when their corner back was harshly sent of in the 1st half.

  • oh

    my

    god

  • John Doyle said, of Broderick`s dummy and point, " In my day, it just wouldn`t have happened". John was a member of Hell`s Kitchen, the teak tough Tipp full back line of the sixties...Doyle, Mick Maher and Kieran Carey. To be fair to Kevin, I don`t think he would have chanced the move against that lot!!!!

  • One of my all time favourite pints. That is sheer briliance!!!!

  • can anyone tell me how old he is now n his he still hurlin

  • he is thirty one... dont know if he is still on the county panel but he hasnt played this year

  • still plays hurling with galway:)

  • Great point from a master craftsman

  • If hurling was international that would be a youtube hit like Messi. Sheer genius.

  • Genius

  • class

  • Great hurling. Pity they were robbed in the final

  • Great score in a great game. Galway should have won the All Ireland that year.

  • a hero for club and county... unmarkable when he was at his best

  • class!! but ciaran carey in 96 in the last minute against clare woz dat bit better

  • no way!!!!! that score might have been more important but this 1 was way better!!!

    i was at the game!!!

  • what cind a sport is that?

  • hurling

  • Fantastic!!

  • Beautiful point,one that will be remembered.From a Corkman

  • unbelieveable stuff. summed up broderick. speek, skill and cheek!!!
