Regardless of politics, this was a pretty lame anthem. The Shah could certainly afford better composers, was he just being stingy? More of a circus showpiece than anything else. The IR anthem today is more stirring than this slop, though the old "Ey Iran" anthem is way better than either of them! The Qajar anthem was okay, though it was never finalized during Qajar times.
