yea man, it holds down a good and round low end. i swapped out my strings for flatwounds and this bass does it. on ur amp tho, but ur treble down cuz u mite get clicking with treble all up. but yea, this bass can hold down "dark and bassy"

u can get a rele nice bassy tone to it.

just make sure to turn down the treble knob

is the trebly sound can be eq'd with a 3-way EQ?

or is it like a standard p bass with tone up to full?

it was worth it when it was still about $700. i use graphic EQ so im not sure how it is with a 3 band. i like it, but you gotta get used to no tone knob. but now, i really like it.
