  • great jams !

  • this guitar is worth its money - and it does not cost as much as a f++++n gibson .

  • i like it . interesting

  • Very nice playing! Btw, you look like "Kurt Cobain meets Jesus".

  • do you think the Seymour Duncan APH-2b Slash Alnc II Pro would fit in this guitar?

  • @TheSpale97 probably not, since this is a p90 guitar. the stock pickups are not real p90s, but they are p90 size.

  • I really like this jam. It's not the usual copy band junk you hear on 'the Tube' and has some real interesting riffs. Good job here friend!

  • I like the tone

Thinking of getting one of these V100Gts, or possibly the Epiphone Goldtop p90 guitar - does anyone know which is better?

Im worried about the finish/colour looking cheap and I cant tell from the videos - has anyone compared one of these goldtops with an expensive, eg gibson, goldtop?

  • @kiloch i must say that i haven't tried the epi's yet, but what i do know is that on the outside, the epiphone will be a better replica than the vintage. (finish, pickguard)

soundwise i'm not sure, but the epi does have real p90s, as opposed to the stacked W100 (not quite humbucking) p90 lookalike things. i'm pretty sure i'm swapping these with lollars some day, which is not a bad idea for an epi either..

playability with this guitar is SWEET! tuning stable.. i heard epi's might feel less solid.

  • do you think the Seymout Duncan SP-90-1 Vintage P90 Soapbar would fit in this guitar?

  • @barbucatalin95 yeah definitely, the wilkinson stacked p90s are regular p90 size, so they will fit. i'm planning yo swap mine with some lollars. she deserves it!

  • I love the sound of your guitar. Nice feeling :)

  • Nice playing mate, really makes a change hearing someone play nice and clean on a les paul style guitar instead of all that thrash metal bollocks. I am thinking about buying this vintage with the P-90's, would you recommend it ?.

  • @scays1 thanks!

i would say this guitar has been a good buy for me. it is not perfect in terms of finish, and the pickguard is mounted on the goldtop itself, but it plays brilliantly, and stays in tune.

i put ernie ball skinny top heavy bottom strings on this one, which give it a bit more balls.

the pickups do not have as much output as i would like, compared to my other guitars. but if the amp is set up right, it's rock n roll!

maybe i will swap the (not p90) wilkinson pickups for lollar p90s.
