i might do another on a serial killer, but im against the fetishization of serial killers. these guys do not deserve a 'celebrity' status. theres a tendency to immortalize them as 'celebrities', and while i understand the tendency to do so, these individuals have ruined countless lives. i made this to draw attention to a series of crimes that i see as largely, and unjustly, forgotten.
@hogochodo I understand that, but not more then Government has took many many lives. If you could, with the all seeing eye, I know this video is illuminati as fuck. There's a case in Ukraine with a Police officer named Serhiy Tkatch.. They're hiding something, he was a cop who killed at least 40 little girls, seems like they let him kill up there. Please do a documentary on Serhiy like this, I am a subscriber now. I hate Serial Killers but I love mysteries an all that. Thanks you, sub me back 2.
One point I wanted to make re this tragic episode is that I am tired of hearing that Houston Heights was a low income area at the time. This seems to imply that the victims had been “white trash” and had neglectful parents. HH kids were targeted simply because Henley and Brooks lived there and thus knew a lot of kids. Corll’s MO was not forcibly abducting victims, but rather to lure them to him. I doubt he gave a hoot what the demographics of his victims were beyond being young white males.
Thank you for the time and effort spent in putting together this video to educate the public about this little known case. Corll is once again in the news, so your sources will likely be updated--in late November another of Corll's victims was identified. The poor young man's name is Roy Eugene Bunton--his body had been misidentified as that of Michael Baulch. He can finally rest in peace under his own name.
I actually walked through Corlls Pasadena Tx house last week. Paid the poor mexicans living there 20 bucks. It is completely unchange, other then the garage converted to a dining room. To walk in the torture room (where the 2 14 yr olds sleep,,,,IRONIC) is spine tingling.
@GreenQualityS Henley would not have murdered on his own, but he sold the lives of several of his friends and acquaintances in the full knowledge that they would die in agony. The fact that he personally shot and helped torture and strangle several of those boys is evil enough. E.M. Forster once said that given the choice between betraying his friend or betraying his country, he'd betray his country. Henley betrayed his friends for $200 each.
I read an article about a young Marine Veteran, who happened to be one of Corrll's neighbors, in Pasadena, who went missing, without a trace. The young man was in his 20s and lived in an apartment a block away from Corrll's residence. Like Corrll, the veteran rode motorcycles. Chances are that Corrll befriended him, The marine's body has never been found and it has been almost 4 decades. He went missing before Corrll was killed.
i believe i read the same article. it looks like corll would be a pretty strong suspect relating to his disappearance.. it just blows my mind that even 40 years on, one mans actions, even though hes been dead for so many years, can continue to have such a horrible effect on the families he decimated.. those poor people are still feeling the affects of his utter, all consuming greed and destruction.
That story will haunt The Heights for all eternity. David Brooks walked in on Corrll with two young boys, that he never knew. Corrll stated that he killed those boys, himself, after molesting them. He did it all without Brooks' help. I just wonder if Corrll did not take their bodies and place them in dumpsters? Believe me, I would not put it past him.
From what I remember reading, the Marine's car keys were found in the ignition of his car, where it was parked at his apartment complex. His motorcycle was found in a park, with his helmet on the handle bars. Still, no trace of him or his body. I would not doubt that Corrll got his hands on him. Sure, Brooks and Henley never mentioned the young man in the body count. So, chances are, Corrll killed him without their help and decomposed his body in an unknown location.
I am convinced that Corrll acted alone, too. I mean, investigators found a collection of car keys at Corrll's resident, and those appeared to be more than 27-28 keys. Is anybody convinced that Corrll murdered and assaulted without the help of his accomplices?
while theres obviously no doubt that brooks and henley enabled and participated, i have little doubt that corll acted alone in murdering boys as well. both during and prior to to his teenage accomplices involvement.
This is the most horrible thing I've ever read about. those poor boys and the pain them and their families must of gone through! Seems to me like mother that boy phoned knew what was happening!!!! You don't just phone up and say "I've killed him, I'm by the warehouse he keeps" he must have told her about Dean beforehand. Sick sick people!
what did he get wrong? he seemed so compassionate in the article. i understand if you dont want to answer, but i really hope you go through with publishing the book youre working on. i think it will be an important document within the annals of true crime.. you have such a unique story, im sure others could benefit from reading how you were able to get through that horror.. at the very least look into publishing as a kindle ebook or something.
read the recent texas monthly article and you will see that 38 years does little to heal the wounds of family members affected by these horrible evets. this case was and is pretty much unprecedented within the annals of modern crime.
thanks. this was such an incredibly tragic, heartbreaking case. i cant imagine what the victims went through, not to mention the horror that their families endured. all because of one sick, sadistic, selfish man...

@CalorieDiary He said in his confession to police he had tried to tell his mother several times what Corll was doing but she wouldn't believe him.
