Excellent Wil! I would be interested in additional videos featuring QRP operations. Looks like a great contact checking in with Mid-Cars HF Net. 73 - David
You're right. However, QRP on 75/80 meters can be done. I've made many contacts using 5 watts or less on the band. The adage, "To each their own" applies here as well :-) 73 and thanks for your comment. AI4QT
@AI4QT I have made many QRP SSB contacts on 75m with less than 5w. I have made quite a few with less than 1w. My record stands at 75mw to a station 400 air-miles from me. Plus, I have worked ZS on 75m from my mobile while only running 100w. This would about the same as running around 13w from my base -- not quite QRP, but 10,000 miles with only 13w ERP is pretty darn good for an SSB contact on 75m!
Thanks for putting MidCars on the YouTube! Great job on the video. Jimmy, ARRL TS, MidCars SCO, WX9DX

QRP is possible on any band with the right conditions, but that conditions haven't been around much lately.

life's too short for qrp, but it does work. just try to jump in on 75 meters at night they will eat you alive.
