i have a question please answer if possible

i have a concert ukulele

but the E is a low string

i want it high an it wont go high because its not the right string

what kind of strings should i get?

an is it possible to use a acoustic guitar string to replace the E string that i no longer want?

Just get a set of proper ukulele strings, not just one replacement string. I use Worth and Aquila strings myself but I suppose there are other good brands out there. A good set of strings doesn't cost a fortune an your ukulele will sound better with them. Hope that helps. Fred

thanks i got new strings

its so weird i tuned it an everything

but its so low still idk why i tuned it but it sounds nothing like a real ukulele

thats because if you change the tuning on one string, say making the E string a higher E then you have to also change the rest of the strings to make them higher as well. Plus that string is supposed to be the "low" string on the uke so it will always be lower than the other ones
