What I want to know is the life of the battery, the charge time of the battery and the power output over time as the battery drains. I love electric powered mechanics, but batteries are holding them back. Gas is quick to refill and has a constant power output. I still don't know which one I will use when I build my first RC car.

The battery I use, can work until 50 cycles (no much more as the constructor said). The charge time without stops, is 35-45 min (35 if you go at maximum speed for all the time). When the battery is discharge, you still have the maximum power and then the car Stop immediately. I use to bring two packs full charged as exchange and the refill is faster than nitro refill. With 4 packs (2 each run) I run 1h 30m with only 30s of stop, if I want.

If I have to be sincere, also the batteries, the production of photovoltaic cells and other things pollute...but I like to think that I can start to stop pollution since now with small things, all days. It's my opinion.

@nev100celle Grazie della dritta del piazzale. Per quanto riguarda la pista di ponte galeria, ci andavo con una 1/8 e mi piaceva molto. Costruii questa 1/5 proprio per quella pista e non appena l'ebbi finita la pista chiuse per sempre. Più di un anno fa. Sul sito scritto nei commenti del video, trovi i filmati dell'Alfa su quella pista....

Are those acceleration stats like downsized scale so the speed for the scale appears 85 but the actual road real speed like full scale car is not 85? or is it upscaled (normal) speed? if u get me :/ lol

@david1991rules4life I measured 85Km/h of max speed (exact value with radar gun) and then I measured, with help of my friend, the necessary time to reach this speed: 2,5 s. Then, I calculated the theoretical time to reach 100Km/h. But the car doesn't reach 100Km/h but only 85Km/h.

Ciao, no, non è una conversione. Si tratta dell'unico modello 1/5 che nasceva elettrico. Però aveva un motore non troppo potente ed io ho sostituito motore e regolatore. Il modello iniziale è una HARM EP.

I'm not sure to understand what you mean but the technical data sheet in my video is high precise. All the measures are carried out with high precision instruments. Radar Gun and High precision crono. If you don't believe it's possible, you have to know which power the NeuMotor 1521 is able. The torque of an electric motor (with the same Kw of internal-combustion engine) is enormous to the comparison of a traditional engine. 26cc engine is not enough to beat NeuMotor 1521.Bye

Nitro is nice and all and will probably be around for a long time since it's very much a hobby within a hobby.

But I care about power and speed more than anything else and the strongest nitro money can buy doesn't hold a candle against powerful BL motors meant for the same scale. And a high performance lipo can run your car for 30-60 min. The next battery gets charged while the other is used. Back to back running. Just switch and go.

I doubt your nitro will eat this one for breakfast. If he wants more speed he can just gear it up. This Neu motor will raise its power output and torque to about 5 Hp during acceleration. Electric produces more power with higher resistance. Think you can get 5 Hp out of your nitro during an acceleration?

And if this motor isn't enough he can always get the castle-neu 2200kv mamba monster motor. It will pull about 5000 watts when you need it and produce about 6 horsepowers out of it.

Il fatto è che non si sporca, non fa rumore, non inquina e puoi giraci ovunque. La accendi e parti, la spegni e la puoi riporre così com'è. Lo scoppio era per me una schiavitù e dovevo dedicarci troppo tempo...ma capisco che per molti il fascino non sia lo stesso.
