MGS2 has a great rendition of this theme in the intro. But songs like 'Yell Dead Cell' (from the fight with Vamp) sound more like something you'd hear in a night club than on an MGS title.

MGS4s music was average. The exceptions for me are 'Here's To You', 'Father & Son', 'Encounter' (MGS4 Version), and 'Enclosure'. (MGS4 Version).

Contact Roy Campbell on the Codec so you can hear his advice about "the back of the CD case". AFTER you hear that, spend a lot of time on that part of the game (by running around on random places or something like that). After a long period of time, check your Codec's "memory list". Meryl's name and Codec number are written there.
