  • Oh Shucks ! I can't find any just for fun group here in the North East 1 There is a group in Canada but they are rather serious, and the fun dogs go at the end of the day if itme allows. I don't want to drive up there, and not be able to give Gunner his fun. Can coursing equipment be ordered on line? What is the cost?

  • I belong to the Alaska Hound Group Association up here, and they do fun runs and competition. I don't get to run Chloe as often as I'd like because the group is based out of Anchorage/Wasilla and that's 350 miles south. We do make it down there for the fun runs a couple times a year, and there'll be competitive coursing up here in Fairbanks at the end of the month, so we'll do that. Also, a friend bought coursing equipment last year, so now we're just trying to find a place to use it.

  • Gunner's a handsome boy, and he looks like he's having a great time. Chloe definitely enjoys getting out and doing stuff with me, and skijoring is a great way to keep her in shape for lure coursing.

  • @simile34 Where do you do your coursing ? I've been wanting to do some with Gunner ,just for fun. I don't want to get into the serious stuff. i just want him to be able to chase a lure. He would love it.
