Hey if you've got an ipod touch try out "baby scratch" it's still free I think unti lthe ipad version of flare comes out. A sampling turntable in your hand! (mic required for sampling, of course.. but comes with preloaded backing and scratch tracks too..)

I'm not sure on the brand name for the stand. My camcorder is a firewire jvc gr-d750u dv cam. It's good for streaming video and it works well with my screenflow mac software. This video was recorded using youtubes direct webcam record so the quality level is low. I've been looking for a good hd firewire cam, but they cost a lot.

I created my on unique cuts by using the line to cut the record. I've been doing that for years. I've never seen a dj use this line switch to scratch a record. In this video, I use all 3 methods for cutting the record. The fader, The line switch, and the transform button on the mixer. I watch my own video a lot and wonder how I did that. lol. I recorded this video at 6am on a Saturday morning

people have been using the line to cut since the late 70s, or 80s dude, it was primarily used because faders back then had a very long throw so you couldn't "cut" easily. Mix Master Mike is a huge fan of the line switch, see some of his late 80s/early 90s performances which are all over Youtube
