With selective choice of quotes from any of our founders it is not particularly difficult to paint a positive view of one's personal political leanings with a biased brush. Perhaps not each & every precept from society lived 235 years ago holds the exact context today from which it sprung. Consider Jefferson's quote, which due to character limitations I'll post but a snippet "As that (human mind) becomes more developed, more enlightened..institutions must advance to keep pace with the times."
A lot of that is way out of context, and one of those quotes even removed about 10 words from the middle of it, and ended the last sentence early, which made it appear as though it means the opposite of what he said.
ok 1st of all, he says that every generation needs to pay its debt which is how the bankers make their money and a large part of why they make the wars, wasting the labors - i think this is regarding the socialistic workless world they are creating, then he promotes the depopulation, we need weapons to kill each other, don't pay the church (good, but it's also talking about staying away from stuff you don't believe, and the anti-conspiracy attitude of the english is strongly ingrained)
@riprandy318 I just read your comment ; I sincerely appreciate you sharing your wisdom here on YouTube. Seems to be a total summary of whats wrong here in the US.
Thomas Jefferson is a slave holding devil. this Unrightious man will pay for his wickedness. Revelation 13:10 he that leadeth into captivity will go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. His judgement will come.
Some of that came from the Indians, the first nation. Just like the constitution of the USA. When will you exalt the Indians? When will you do the will of the LORD God?
Search “What a Way to Go. Life at the End of Empire” on youtube. The globalist agenda is set but we have to stop the New World Order. As far as left or right is concerned, there is no right or left only right or wrong. 9/11 was an inside job. Wake up and realize the economic collapse was planned. This isn't conspiracy theory, its a matter of control in the hands of a few wealthy people. Know the truth, trueworldhistory dot info
@MurderByFluoride "Good Americans" Have An Understanding That A Black And White America Is Just As Much A Crime As An America Saturated With "Filthy Illigal Aliens". "Good Americans" Are Kind, Because They Are Not Shallow Enough To Just Be "Good Americans", Instead They Are Good Human Beings. Realize The Only Scum In This World Are Those In Power Who Control Cash Flow And Who Fool Ignorant Humans Into Pointing At Each Other. Like In A Dog Fight, The Only One Who Should Be Bit Is The "Owner"
Great video! Well done. It's a shame our current politicians are ignoring the advise of our forefathers and have turned this country into the broke and corrupt nation that it is today.
if you want to maintain the status quo, dont vote for Ron Paul... If you want to do away with civil liberties and freedom, dont vote for Ron Paul.. If you want more of what you earn taken from you, dont vote for Ron Paul.. If you think the U.S should borrow money from China to fund endless wars while the American people fall further into economic slavery, dont vote for Ron Paul..
If you love PROSPERITY, FREEDOM AND LIBERTY VOTE FOR RON PAUL in 2012!!!!!

"Question with boldness even the existence of a God; because, if there be one, he must more approve of the homage of reason, than that of blind-folded fear."
Most people don't realize that Jefferson was a great free-thinker.
@MurderByFluoride hey you fat fuck i can see that you are a hate monger tryin to split the resistance. but hey guess what your gonna fail. And in case you dont know your history texas and mexico were one at one time. when your whore of a great grandma loaded up a slave ship from africa and sailed over the atlantic to this beutiful land and shitted ur ancestors my people were already here. so u take ur fat ass home your the real wetback. this guys obviously an nwo troll.long live the republic!
Welfare whore? I'm a fucking libertarian. People like you are the kind that make people all across the world think Americans are stupid. Immigrants are a scapegoat, what have they even done that is so abhorrent? And who are you to use force to violent coerce them out of the country? Clearly global banking institutions and government coercion are responsible for our loss of freedom. Do you really think immigrants caused the recession? Or conspired to take our freedoms?
Oh dear you redneck cunt, the United States was a country founded on individual rights, anyone could come to the US to make a better life because that was the freedom granted to them. Who are you to violently force them out? Your collectivist ideology of race is as disgusting as communism, and you clearly do not understand why your country is unique.
@MurderByFluoride black and white what the fuck u mean by that im hispanic my parents came here legally and i was born here, i beleive in liberty and freedom. so no america is not black and white. and the native americans were here first. before your people did what they are doing to the world right now. destroying it !
@MurderByFluoride I'm Communist? Are you going to shut me up asshole? FUCK YOU you spineless asshole! Where are you? Let's see if you can shut me up dickhead! You think you know it all? You probably came into this world from your mother's asshole and not her pussy...you piece of shit! Deport my ass? I'm from here you dumb fuck! Shit is already bad! Were in the fuck have you been? Trying to hide in your mother's asshole?
@MurderByFluoride which is pathetic to say the least being punished for crossing a road a load of rubbish you have the Black panthers and the KKK who do we have thats right no racial groups well aren't we good you watch to many films mate your living in a dream world just because a few Muslims are going round shouting and a few bar fights happen in the movies the UK is just a shit hole to you i could name so many things about America that would be far worse but why should i bother
@MurderByFluoride Dear Yanky you are gravely mistaken i do not Live in London the multicultural hate city that it is i can walk down my street fine and everyone is very friendly where as on the other hand British tourists got killed in America the other week when did any Americans die here can't place it exactly you are chatting utter bullshit would i get arrested for illegally downloading music nope in America id get a lot of years and walking across that street i could get arrested or fined
hey people... im from europe.. I used to love the united states so much that i could die for its principles... but every day that passes, i dont feel that the USA right now is like the USA that the founders fathers founded... what is happening over there people... please... dont destroy america :'(
Abraham Lincoln: "America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves."
@TheAmericanFreeBird - hey dude.. Jeffersons radicalism was revived in Paris - he understood that civic /human rights were inalienable and that government had a mandate to protect, advance and nurture the interests of the citizen. Citizens, in Jeffersons world, were custodians and protectors of a set of political and moral principles - to which each subscribed and pledged allegiance. Sadly it's dead now...Our political reps are whores to populism..not advocates of founding principles.
@cheechnchongsbong very very true... my last hope for america is people like you, people who understand what "republic" means, people who believe in the principles that founded america.
@TheAmericanFreeBird - Hmm... Western democracy is a perversion of the Socratean ideal. Participatory democracy (Socrates Ideal) champions the citizen as an active particpant in the political process, particularly at a "local" level. Representative democracy (ours) champions advocacy on behalf of MANY citizens. The great challenge is balancing social and environmental aspirations that are global, with political, economic and cultural aspirations that are local national or even regional.
@TheAmericanFreeBird ...cont....proportionate representation should be the minimal demand and we can reform our electoral processes without disjointing our institutions from the founding principles upon which civic/human rights have been defined, asserted and guaranteed /enshrined in law. Such principles must remain universal but this does not prevent us from adapting our institutions to better serve the needs of the "Citizen"-Jefferson would've expected that we would continue political reform.
How many men with such wisdom n honesty are born on this earth? i Never admired a statesman B4 as much as the Great T Jefferson Pls dear God send us one more like him How different this man was to present day politicians except for Ron Paul/J Ventura He must be turning in his grave now at how his beloved country has been eroded
you do realize it was also founded with native americans, mayans, aztecans who migrated up from south america and mexico to stay in the northern part of america. So if you want to get technical it should be a latin black, native and white america the way it was founded. Hindu, arabs, packi's yes never were here but the others were.
@MurderByFluoride Only a fool scapegoats illegal immigrants for today's problems instead of blaming on our failed political leaders. This country thrived on immigrants in the late 19th century during Ellis Island by adding a labor surplus, and the wealth of country is indicative of how much it can produce. We need jobs first, after that we could use the additional labor by immigrants. Don't compare Thomas Jefferson with your racist views, "American" is not a single race but comes in a variety.
My life is indebted to this man for allowing me to live in such a prosperous/free country.
However, the Republic has been hijacked by a handful of elites that control most if not all wealth around the world. More specifically the Federal Reserve and the countless other central banks in Europe and Asia.
We must fight to get back and preserve our Republic.
@MurderByFluoride You do realize that all those groups you mentioned rule the world now. No need to express your inferiority on the internet. Your quixotic requests can only be laughed at never sated.
@MurderByFluoride Hey idiot...America was founded by Native American Indians. It was the white man that brought the black man here and it was the white man that stole the land from the Native American Indians. Oh, and the Mexicans were already here also. Long before the white man ever set foot on this land. So shut the fuck up you ignorant, uneducated asshole and study the history of this country you racist bastard. You don't know shit!
@nvrsumr Fuck you asshole! American Indians were here BEFORE our founding fathers! Our founding fathers call it the "United States" of America. America has been here long before our founding fathers were.
As a modern European I find this a little naive. Corrupted as Europe? we arent more corrupted than the US. Don let the government take of you? Yepp, let the corporations better right? You see? We have universal health care and it goes pretty well, we dont let people die becuase they cant pay for it. Besides these two you as a pride nation of your constitution, should take this into account more seriously. The problem is the US think everybody wants to be like them and that's the biggest mistake
@PLANKt0ne1 take the people that dont like it here and bring them back to Europe. our ancestors left Europe cause we want to live how we want and not have a large government telling us what we can do. if you modern day Europeans still want a large government fine but we appreciate civil liberties and our constitution so take back anyone that doesn't appreciate these things.
that's the problem. You call being free very dumb things. Free to pay this doctor or this other. Free to shoot guns in my backyard. We get better services, our people dont die waiting in hospitals. We all get covered, even you, even inmigrants. Your governments are submitted to corporations. It's the law of money. You were supposed to change the old europe and we have better living conditions for the average than you. I know, I've lived there. The American dream is the European nightmare.
it sucks, all we do in this country now days ,is play the blame game, you speak out and it starts repuke vs dumbasscrat pissing match,in the meantime both sides are fucking us as hard as they possibly can.I do believe our forefathers would be ashamed of what we did to this country.I think they would take up Arms against us, and who the hell could blame them.I just know how this country is gonna survive long term, if these men where here, it could be saved, but thier not,and thats that
@CoolerKing37: The mass media is demonizing Charlie Sheen with their out-of-context sound-bites of Charlie Sheen's STAND-UP-COMEDY ACTS!
Charlie Sheen is a 9/11 truther and went on YouTube demanding answers from President Obama... THAT'S when the mass-media smear campaign of his name started. WAKE UP, DAMNIT! YOU ARE A PAWN IN A BIG GAME OF CHESS!
@CoolerKing37: Aren't ALL the celebs, though? Ask yourself why HE gets centred out in a crowd of people doing exactly the same things... He just happens to not eat the bullshit fed to us by the government about 9/11 and asks questions...
Why is it, everybody that speaks out against the government either dies of syphilis/cancer or is a coked up rapest?
Why is it that we keep falling for the same old trick?! :/
Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq. All the same. Speak out, ruin your career.
@michealPW Because he's the highest paid actor on tv and he's been on every show but his own. And by your logic, is Lindsay Lohan being centered out in a government 9/11 conspiracy too?
This piece is MAGNIFICENTLY DONE. The content of course, is so inspiring, compelling and timeless. I espouse every principle contained within this short Clip. May I ask what program did you use? Your combining of the old paintings with current photographs is seamless. Beautiful sentiment and great composition. Thank you so much!
or Create a video response * The main problem in the U.S. is that both parties think the Constitution is a political carpet to stand on and not an outline of principals to be followed. Jefferson would likely be appalled and disgusted at the very men and women who claim to revere him. His underlying premise was correct: you get what you deserve.
I´m from Mexico and i love movies and books about American revolution, Washington and Jefferson were trully libertarians, they despised power and control over people, and founded a real noble republic, free and lawfull.
Unfortunately the heroes´s legacy was to good to handle, and corrupt, ambitious, evil people truned the United States into an empire, a capitalist beast that we see today bringing war and terror everywhere.
I wish Mexico would´ve had such a great revolutionary leaders..
@Mrgokueldestructor It did!
All of these points are being deliberately ignored today!!! When you start to learn about the history of money and banks, you start to understand what the Declaration of Independence was all about!!!
@PenaPepper I am with you on that! I am educating myself about the banks now (something not taught in government schools - on purpose I suppose & I am so appaulede at the conditions!). We must demand good government like tht describbed by Jefferson. There R so many ignorant sheeps in America today, lazy & living off the labors of struggling shop/industry owners through gov. taxation. Must admit, I was asleep...traumatized...or hypmotized by what was placed in front of me.
The word LIBERTY comes from the days of the sea!... When Sailors could go to shore and be temporary freemen, not bound to their captains!
Permanent LIBERTY is only gotten through relief of DEBT. The US abolished the British currency, adopting their own gold-backed standard and in so doing, abolished their DEBT!
The French people awarded them with the statue of LIBERTY. For once in their lives, the Colonialists had FREEDOM FROM DEBT! LIBERTY!
If you look very closely at our countries recent history, you'll will see(that is if you possess sufficient intelligence) how true this statement is.
“Single acts of tyranny may be ascribed to the accidental opinion of the day; but a series of oppressions, begun at a distinguished period, and pursued unalterably through every change of administrators, too plainly proves a deliberate, systematic plan to reduce us to slavery”
I think this is the most important quote at this time and day. The source of all the problems in the world:
"If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their money, first by inflation and then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them (around the banks), will deprive the people of their property until their children will wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered." -Thomas Jefferson
@enkeksinickia: I disagree: "Educate and inform the whole mass of the people.. They are the only sure reliance for the preservation of our liberty."
If we were educated of the dangerous of central/private banks, we would never have allowed Nixon to abolish the gold standard and never would have allowed the creation of the Federal Reserve in the first place!
They have systematically destroyed our education, to the point where we need YouTube clips to show us WTF our forefathers said :(
@enkeksinickia Absolutely yes! and what do we now have? Why does a private entity"the fed" that prints our U.S. dollar, backed by nothing, run us all? Actually it's more like ruin us all and our great nation. It began in the year 1913. T.J. was an amazing man with unbelievably wisdom and for thought to the point of divine guidance in my humble opinion.
@enkeksinickia Total garbage. The quote is phony. I'm Canadian and even I know that. This is just like that stupid Willie Lynch document. A complete fake. Special interest groups have an incredibly annoying habit of trying to re-write history to suit their particular agenda.
@enkeksinickia and lets not forget the most sad but important thing to do for freedom "The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants."
Here is a good measure... I will average the GDP per Capita PPP for four social democracies that are commonly cited as examples of success and compare them to America. Denmark, Sweden, France, and Germany. I should include Spain, but their economy is terrible and you would get angry. All of this is from the International Monetary Fund. Sweden, Denmark, Germany, and France have an Average GDP per Capita (PPP) of 34,900. For America, it is 45,934.
Thomas Jefferson is in my eyes one of the greatest persons of modern times. Although I dissagree with him on many things, (I'm Liberal left, Social Democrat)
@D3adtrap I agree with you on Thomas Jefferson. However, you cannot be a social democrat and value freedom. That is condradictory. I assume you're talking about social democracy when you say social democrat. Social democracy is the enemy of liberty. Thomas Jefferson himself said "I predict the future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them". Social democracy violates this very principle.
@D3adtrap Indeed, you cannot be both free and have a large welfare state and high taxes. Not only is social democracy bad for the economy, as evidenced by European welfare states. But it also violates the liberty of the people.
I would dissagree. Althoug some countries are in trouble in europe (Greece, Spain & Ireland) Europe still is leader in wealth, education and economy. I do not see how high taxes violates liberty of people. Yes they pay high taxes, but on the long run it is good for everyone and has really good results.
@D3adtrap Actually, America has a far stronger economy than Europe. Our GDP per capita, the strogest mesaure of a strong economy, is MUCH higher than it is in Europe. The only countries that are even close are: Switzerland (more free marke than us), Ireland (also more free market thanus), Luxembourg (the ultimate baking tax haven), and Norway (oil- inflated). So we are the economic leader of the world.
@D3adtrap No, high taxes are not good for anyole, except for the politicians. That is why european nations have much lower standard of living than us.
You can't just say I didn't have any facts, I just gave you some facts on GDP per Capita. The only problem is that the facts don't line up with your beliefs.
"the EU has the largest economy in the world; the economy of the EU is slightly larger than that of the U.S. in terms of GDP purchasing (PPP) and ~24% larger in terms of nominal GDP, as of 2008 "
@D3adtrap Yes, because the US has a smaller population than the EU. GDP per Capita in PPP is the only stat that matters. China has a bigger GDP than Japan, does that mean that they have a better economy??? Of COURSE NOT!! China just has a much larger population.
@aaasssfffdddiii As you can see, the American economy is much better than that of the social democracies. Even more interesting, France has the biggest government and least economic freedom even among the social democracies, and their GDP per capita is 33,434, the lowest of any of those countries. Social democracy just doesnt work....
Quality of life is also measured by health care, education etc. I'm myself enjoyng totaly free high level education witch includes housing and three meal a day. How much did your collage cost, 20 000? 30 000? Per YEAR! And books, how about rent?
50 million americans cant afford health insurance, where as I pay for full treatment 30€ a year. 14% poverty rate must suck.
@D3adtrap Under free market capitalism, all of these things (health care, education, etc.) would be dirt cheap if the market was allowed to function. So there's no reason it should be costly. Sadly, the US government, bloated as it is, has fucked up everything for Americans.
I guess the Swedish government is a bit more efficient, but I doubt it's solvent in the long-run. Plus, the success of Sweden can more be attributed to the fact that it's now more capitalistic in many ways than the US!
@D3adtrap Sweden is only rich because it didn't get heavily indebted, was able to produce and didnt get bombed during the second world war. After WWII Sweden also enjoyed a time of relatively high economic freedom.
But as the wealth began to accumulate, politicians were more eager to have the wealthy government help the poor through social programs that would guarantee their re-election. Sweden's welfare state cannot run forever.
In New York gap between poor and rich is as bad as in india. You have this 1% elite that owns 60% of your economy. For example; How many friends you have in Facebook? Most people have 200-500 friends, but average is 2000 friends. You know why? There is celeberties who have 100 000+ friends etc. So that is counted as average.
@D3adtrap Nice try, but median income is also much higher in America. Indeed, the Median Disposable Income is $26,672. It is only $19,904 for the four social democracies i mentioned earlier (Sweden, Denmark, France, and Germany). I put median to disspell any notion that it is skewed by the wealthy. And those figures are adjusted for prices and household size....
"The European Union has the largest wealthiest economy in the world and is the first trade power in the world, trade within the Union accounts for more than one-third of the world total. "
And you are arguing against your self. When you say "oh they have higher population" do you consider that sweden has like 12 million people living in it? So yeah.. Europe has also most of most succesful companies there, like Nokia
@D3adtrap No, all of europe has a larger population than America. My God, The European union includes all of europe. This is not that complicated. I thorugh liberals were smarter than conservatives. Anyways, America has much more succesfull companies. 139 of the worlds largest 500 companies are in America. Furthermore, America is the only country to have more small businesses than companies. This is because of the dynamic capitalistic system America boasts...
@D3adtrap Here is a good measure... I will average the GDP per Capita PPP for four social democracies that are commonly cited as examples of success and compare them to America. Denmark, Sweden, France, and Germany. I should include Spain, but their economy is terrible and you would get angry. All of this is from the International Monetary Fund. @aaasssfffdddiii It looks like somebody else is beating the shit out of you on another video. With FACTS, as I did. LOL
Obviously the European economy is great, if they rank more happier than us on a consistent basis and vote for these policies. They have their priorities for the good of the people, rather than the good of the Corporations.
You have been brainwashed, somewhere along in your life, to fight for the very people that don't give two fucks where you end up in life.
@LibertyRealm Outdated comment, kid. And besides, it isn't Europe's economy as whole that is bad, rather, it's Italy and Spain. The happiest Country in the world--Norway-- isn't having major economic problems.
Let's not forget what started this world wide slide: the United States with it's tyrannical banking. It started here, and it ALL must end here. You right wingers need to stop blocking jobs bills because solving the jobs crisis is better for the deficits than any of your cruel cuts
"The happiest Country in the world--Norway-- isn't having major economic problems"
Oil and ingnorance, the perfect recipe for blind adulation of the state.
"Let's not forget what started this world wide slide: the United States with it's tyrannical banking... You right wingers... solving the jobs crisis is better for the deficits than any of your CRUEL CUTS"
LOL
Im sorry I dont mean to mock you is just that your economic ignorance is too damn funny.
@aaasssfffdddiii And your notion about the Europeans having a lower standard of living than us is COMPLETE Bullshit. LOL You just pull things out your ass. No wonder why this guy stopped responding to you. I'm going to follow his example. LOL
@aaasssfffdddiii Actually norway and luxembourg are two european countries that have a higher per capita income. When it comes to happiness? They are near the top as well. The reason why America is high on the per-capita list at all is because there are people that make more money than several african countries combined make. No other country has people like that. The middle class here are depressingly impoverished for a western nation. The middle class in Europe live like the rich do here.
@Pooternackle5 If you think Norway or Luxembourg are rich because of socialism, I have nothing to say to you. They are OUTLIERS, because they are either oil rich (Norway) or a small banking haven (Luxembourg)...
And, your whole middle class is poor theory is disproven by the fact that the American Middle class have higher incomes than teh middle class in European countries...
@aaasssfffdddiii Explain places like France or Switzerland then. Just slightly lower per capita income, but MUCH higher standard of living. Also: It doesn't matter the income when a decent home isn't affordable in the USA, but it is in Europe. The USA always does what it does best, if we did what Europe is doing then we'd stop our decline as a world power and the people would once again be the happiest in the world.
@Pooternackle5 France has a MUCH lower per capita income and a MUCH lower standard of living... Switzerland is a low tax country, so that is easy to explain...
Making up shit doesn't help ur claims...
And, the average American in Poverty has a larger home than the average European Period (not in poverty)...
And, Europe used to be the world power until they adopted socialism which made them poor... lets hope America doesnt take the same path...
@aaasssfffdddiii Europe sucks, it's not a matter of Socialism though, it's a matter of controll. The power hungry will twist anything in their favor to get power over others. Religion, monarchy, ideology or some other means. They will corrupt anything they get power over. :-P
It is only a matter of time before America looses Her freedoms aswell.
"The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is its natural manure." -Thomas Jefferson
when the government if afraid of the ppl you have freedom n Liberty when the ppl are afraid of the government you have tyrany
Is there been a man who loved freedom justice n Liberty on earth more since the Ancient Athenians? one of the Greatest men of ALL times if Not the Greatest
@fluff125 I agree with you on the first 4. But why do you hate Hamilton? He was a genius who founded modern Capitalism. If it were not for him, we wouldn't have seen the rapid growth in the 1800s that we did. His economic programs set the stage for rapid industrial growth. Nowadays, the socialist left has created a welfare state and redistributive measures. They are destroying the capitalistic system that Hamilton envisioned and the liberty that Jefferson envisioned.
@aaasssfffdddiii I hate Hamilton for all the right reason's I assure you. He wanted George Washington to be king. He wanted to be president with rabid enthusiasm. Not because he had to, like Washington, but because he wanted power. He was a mercantilist. He was a protectionist. He wanted the U.S. to invade Florida and South America for empire. He started central banking.
He died fittingly, however, in a duel over politics. So I guess he got his due.
@fluff125 He was an imperfect man. But he was very important to the founding of our nation. Thomas Jefferson, as great as he was, was also imperfect. While he had a great vision for America, it was somewhat imperfect. Hamilton's economic knowledge was key to America's success.
@fluff125 Indeed, all of our founders supported the ideas of capitalism. But, they had different ideas on how to implement it. Jefferson, for example, wanted a purely agricultural nation with an extremely weak central government. This is a good idea, but it is not an economically sound system. Indeed, all of our founders were necessary to form the United States of America. And the left is perverting their ideas.
I'm slowly becoming of the conviction that the greatest enemy of free peoples of the USA is our own federal government. In our history we have gone to wars with foreign peoples who have done much less to us than our own government is now doing to us.
it just goes to show how human Jefferson was , when his wife died he took sally to himself, with out that equlibrium in his life we probably would not have all his wisdom , luckily for us for all that happened to him he wasn;t a bitter man , I feel if he were here today to speak to our time , he would say something like (due to the present distress brought on by neglect we must resist assigning blame and bring forth the basic founding principles and reaffirm them as swiftly as possible)
I used to be anti-American.....a lot of disdain for the United States after the wars, the political jokes that run the place, sub-culture of ignorance in some parts of the country.
Then I read a lot, about the early days. Read the constitution, the declaration.
My conclusion? I am pro-American, the governments that have been running your country are anti-American.
Jefferson was NOT a muslim. He did own a quran but it was to learn about the Barbary pirates which the US went to war with in 1801 and 1815 becuase they refused to pay the tribute to them.
@Whitaker411 He was a deist in a Voltaire's style. I wouldn't say he owned a quran, the founding fathers identified Islam as a source of tyranny and stupidity.
@toophatpoyo I disrespect Islam because I hate tyranny. I tolerate it because I love liberty. I'm not gonna deny them their natural rights like the right to free speech and religious freedom but I'm not gonna pretend like Sharia law is something good.
thomas jefferson had arabic ancestors(he has arabic blood), he also taught himself arabic. all truth!!! so technically, the first arabic president is thomas jefferson!!
@JUKIO01 dont believe me? look for his koran in the library of congress. the US government silences all this from the americans, to keep us dumb, like the fact that christopher columbus never stepped a foot in american soil, EVER!!

Damnable propaganda.
LrdAsmodeous 1 month ago
ok 1st of all, he says that every generation needs to pay its debt which is how the bankers make their money and a large part of why they make the wars, wasting the labors - i think this is regarding the socialistic workless world they are creating, then he promotes the depopulation, we need weapons to kill each other, don't pay the church (good, but it's also talking about staying away from stuff you don't believe, and the anti-conspiracy attitude of the english is strongly ingrained)

Jefferson was one of best of the founding fathers, one of the most critical to defining what the nation is - its liberties, freedom, opportunity.

Sadly it's dead now...Our political reps are whores to populism..not advocates of founding principles.
cheechnchongsbong 7 months ago
@cheechnchongsbong very very true... my last hope for america is people like you, people who understand what "republic" means, people who believe in the principles that founded america.
TheAmericanFreeBird 7 months ago
@TheAmericanFreeBird - Hmm... Western democracy is a perversion of the Socratean ideal. Participatory democracy (Socrates Ideal) champions the citizen as an active particpant in the political process, particularly at a "local" level. Representative democracy (ours) champions advocacy on behalf of MANY citizens. The great challenge is balancing social and environmental aspirations that are global, with political, economic and cultural aspirations that are local national or even regional.
cheechnchongsbong 7 months ago
@TheAmericanFreeBird ...cont....proportionate representation should be the minimal demand and we can reform our electoral processes without disjointing our institutions from the founding principles upon which civic/human rights have been defined, asserted and guaranteed /enshrined in law. Such principles must remain universal but this does not prevent us from adapting our institutions to better serve the needs of the "Citizen"-Jefferson would've expected that we would continue political reform.

This country thrived on immigrants in the late 19th century during Ellis Island by adding a labor surplus, and the wealth of country is indicative of how much it can produce. We need jobs first, after that we could use the additional labor by immigrants. Don't compare Thomas Jefferson with your racist views, "American" is not a single race but comes in a variety.

or Create a video response * The main problem in the U.S. is that both parties think the Constitution is a political carpet to stand on and not an outline of principals to be followed.

LIBERTY!

I think this is the most important quote at this time and day. The source of all the problems in the world:
"If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their money, first by inflation and then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them (around the banks), will deprive the people of their property until their children will wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered." -Thomas Jefferson
enkeksinickia 1 year ago 19
@enkeksinickia: I disagree: "Educate and inform the whole mass of the people.. They are the only sure reliance for the preservation of our liberty."
If we were educated of the dangerous of central/private banks, we would never have allowed Nixon to abolish the gold standard and never would have allowed the creation of the Federal Reserve in the first place!
They have systematically destroyed our education, to the point where we need YouTube clips to show us WTF our forefathers said :(
michealPW 10 months ago
@enkeksinickia Absolutely yes! and what do we now have? Why does a private entity"the fed" that prints our U.S. dollar, backed by nothing, run us all? Here is a good measure... I will average the GDP per Capita PPP for four social democracies that are commonly cited as examples of success and compare them to America. Denmark, Sweden, France, and Germany. I should include Spain, but their economy is terrible and you would get angry. All of this is from the International Monetary Fund. Sweden, Denmark, Germany, and France have an Average GDP per Capita (PPP) of 34,900. For America, it is 45,934.

Thomas Jefferson is in my eyes one of the greatest persons of modern times. Although I dissagree with him on many things, (I'm Liberal left, Social Democrat)
he has the guiding principle of free people
D3adtrap 1 year ago
@D3adtrap I agree with you on Thomas Jefferson. However, you cannot be a social democrat and value freedom. That is condradictory. I assume you're talking about social democracy when you say social democrat. Social democracy is the enemy of liberty. Thomas Jefferson himself said "I predict the future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them". Social democracy violates this very principle.
aaasssfffdddiii 1 year ago
@D3adtrap Indeed, you cannot be both free and have a large welfare state and high taxes. Not only is social democracy bad for the economy, as evidenced by European welfare states. But it also violates the liberty of the people.
aaasssfffdddiii 1 year ago
@aaasssfffdddiii
I would dissagree. Althoug some countries are in trouble in europe (Greece, Spain & Ireland) Europe still is leader in wealth, education and economy. I do not see how high taxes violates liberty of people. Yes they pay high taxes, but on the long run it is good for everyone and has really good results.
D3adtrap 1 year ago
@D3adtrap Actually, America has a far stronger economy than Europe. Our GDP per capita, the strogest mesaure of a strong economy, is MUCH higher than it is in Europe. The only countries that are even close are: Switzerland (more free marke than us), Ireland (also more free market thanus), Luxembourg (the ultimate baking tax haven), and Norway (oil- inflated). So we are the economic leader of the world.
aaasssfffdddiii 1 year ago
@D3adtrap No, high taxes are not good for anyole, except for the politicians. That is why european nations have much lower standard of living than us.

@D3adtrap What fact did I not get right?
You can't just say I didn't have any facts, I just gave you some facts on GDP per Capita. The only problem is that the facts don't line up with your beliefs.
aaasssfffdddiii 1 year ago
@aaasssfffdddiii
"the EU has the largest economy in the world; the economy of the EU is slightly larger than that of the U.S. in terms of GDP purchasing (PPP) and ~24% larger in terms of nominal GDP, as of 2008 "
D3adtrap 1 year ago
@D3adtrap Yes, because the US has a smaller population than the EU. GDP per Capita in PPP is the only stat that matters. China has a bigger GDP than Japan, does that mean that they have a better economy??? Of COURSE NOT!! China just has a much larger population.
aaasssfffdddiii 1 year ago
@aaasssfffdddiii As you can see, the American economy is much better than that of the social democracies. Even more interesting, France has the biggest government and least economic freedom even among the social democracies, and their GDP per capita is 33,434, the lowest of any of those countries. Social democracy just doesnt work....
aaasssfffdddiii 1 year ago
@aaasssfffdddiii
D3adtrap 1 year ago

Same in the states

D3adtrap 1 year ago

Sweden, Denmark, Germany, and France have an Average GDP per Capita (PPP) of 34,900. For America, it is 45,934.

@aaasssfffdddiii And your notion about the Europeans having a lower standard of living than us is COMPLETE Bullshit. LOL You just pull things out your ass. No wonder why this guy stopped responding to you. I'm going to follow his example. LOL
Seedofwinter 6 months ago
@Seedofwinter Ya, Europeans have about 30-40% lowe r per capita income than us.
But ya, they live better than us because the magic wand of socialism makes facts dissapear!!!
aaasssfffdddiii 6 months ago
@aaasssfffdddiii Actually norway and luxembourg are two european countries that have a higher per capita income. When it comes to happiness? They are near the top as well. The reason why America is high on the per-capita list at all is because there are people that make more money than several african countries combined make. No other country has people like that. The middle class here are depressingly impoverished for a western nation. The middle class in Europe live like the rich do here.
Pooternackle5 5 months ago
@Pooternackle5 If you think Norway or Luxembourg are rich because of socialism, I have nothing to say to you. They are OUTLIERS, because they are either oil rich (Norway) or a small banking haven (Luxembourg)...
And, your whole middle class is poor theory is disproven by the fact that the American Middle class have higher incomes than teh middle class in European countries...
aaasssfffdddiii 5 months ago
@aaasssfffdddiii Explain places like France or Switzerland then. Just slightly lower per capita income, but MUCH higher standard of living. Also: It doesn't matter the income when a decent home isn't affordable in the USA, but it is in Europe. The USA always does what it does best, if we did what Europe is doing then we'd stop our decline as a world power and the people would once again be the happiest in the world.
Pooternackle5 5 months ago
@Pooternackle5 France has a MUCH lower per capita income and a MUCH lower standard of living... Switzerland is a low tax country, so that is easy to explain...
Making up shit doesn't help ur claims...
And, the average American in Poverty has a larger home than the average European Period (not in poverty)...
And, Europe used to be the world power until they adopted socialism which made them poor... lets hope America doesnt take the same path...
aaasssfffdddiii 5 months ago
@aaasssfffdddiii Europe sucks, it's not a matter of Socialism though, it's a matter of controll. The power hungry will twist anything in their favor to get power over others. Religion, monarchy, ideology or some other means. They will corrupt anything they get power over. :-P
It is only a matter of time before America looses Her freedoms aswell.

Jeff was a great man. I would say he represents the ideal America.
and John Adams represents the practical America.
George Washington represents the American spirit,
Ben Franklin represents the American innovator,
and Alexander Hamilton represents the insidious evil of bad ideas which have crept into the American government.
fluff125 1 year ago
@fluff125 I agree with you on the first 4. But why do you hate Hamilton? He was a genius who founded modern Capitalism. If it were not for him, we wouldn't have seen the rapid growth in the 1800s that we did. His economic programs set the stage for rapid industrial growth. Nowadays, the socialist left has created a welfare state and redistributive measures. They are destroying the capitalistic system that Hamilton envisioned and the liberty that Jefferson envisioned.
aaasssfffdddiii 1 year ago
@aaasssfffdddiii I hate Hamilton for all the right reason's I assure you. He wanted George Washington to be king. He wanted to be president with rabid enthusiasm. Not because he had to, like Washington, but because he wanted power. He was a mercantilist. He was a protectionist. He wanted the U.S. to invade Florida and South America for empire. He started central banking.
He died fittingly, however, in a duel over politics. So I guess he got his due.
fluff125 1 year ago
@fluff125 He was an imperfect man. But he was very important to the founding of our nation. Thomas Jefferson, as great as he was, was also imperfect. While he had a great vision for America, it was somewhat imperfect. Hamilton's economic knowledge was key to America's success.
aaasssfffdddiii 1 year ago

Whitaker411 1 year ago
@Whitaker411 He was a deist in a Voltaire's style. I wouldn't say he owned a quran, the founding fathers identified Islam as a source of tyranny and stupidity.
