@iseecheese You'll figure it out.There is a feature to set the time it will shut off. I just selected continuous.which is not timed. Im still learning too. Im sure the Magic Lantern hack is cool and everything. But I would rather just control my brand new T3i with the features that came with the camera. Because Im not concerned about the sound on the camera. I use the Tascam DR-100 for sound. Its sweet.You already have 24p and DOF in the camera.You are set dude.

@MediaUnlocked Magic lantern lives on your SD card, so to undo it all you need to do is format the memory card...

ive installed MAGIC LANTERN on my 550D.. but i dont have the expo option.. i have the iso settings but its on SHOOT option.. what will i do to have the expo option? can u do a Magic Lantern installation tutorial using WINDOWS? thanks

@markjhen18 I dont own a pc so I cant make a video for you sorry. What build are you installing the one I have the link to in this video if so you should have the expo option try re-installing it.

I've followed the instructions on both installing and updating the ML firmware for a Mac. The original install seems to be working just fine, but the updates are not showing up. The one things that seems to be missing from all the downloads is the magic.cfg files and I think that's the reason but I don't know what to do about this.

Can you help?

@LonedogMac Just install the new version the same way you installed the old version you dont need the magic.cfg file
