Can someone tell what is this experiment exactly and on what literature it is based? I mean is there somewhere where I can read about this experiment? 10x
its about something called "sameness", and how it affects human behaviour. like the video shows, most humans will follow another group just because the majority is doing it, even though it is wrong.
@diimtarsh1 Only took 6 months for someone to reply. :) Its a behavioural experiment on conformity and group mentality. It is a very old experiment so im sure there are new studies done in this area.
@diimtarsh1 It's about a little thing called 'conformism'. Because of the group pressure, you adjust your behavour to match the behaviour of the group that's in your presense.
You can find solid information in the 'Organizational Behaviour' editions by Stephen Robbins.
The last guy is a bit too conformist...is this for real?
