  • So glad someone was able to capture this song properly. It is so wonderfully moody. The other song on the same disc that haunted me was "If I Cried". Did you ever film anything for that one those "many moons ago"?

  • Yours is a brilliant piece of work and I never guessed it would come to this. I wrote this song in Surrey, B.C. between the Serpentine and the sea, down on the floodplain. It is no surprise that Frazer river delta feels so much like the Mississippi Delta, all water being connected. Jim is a master and I remember him playing with Ray Charles before Ray passed away> I was a Jim Byrnes fan back in the early seventies so this is huge for me.   • Thank you so much for posting this! I got this album as a gift years ago and it was one of the things left behind when I moved cross-country. This was my favorite track and listening to it always brings back lots of memories, both about where I used to live and about watching the Highlander series with my mom when I was younger.
