Just FYI, the skills that improve your 1-hand weapon stuff, like the one that improves 1-hand weapon critical chance, that also applies to when throwing, as you're throwing a 1-handed weapon. I ended up running some tests with it on a char with the skill and one without, and the one with it got throwing crits more often than the one without. So with that and the throwing crit, you have a 36% chance to crit on throws.

I've watched the four character builds mainly to see what the "internet" suggests versus my own skill to logically build a zombie slaying ass kicker and I Have to say our builds are very similar except for Logan. You make the comment that increasing his rage throwing distance is completely useless..and I beg to differ. You only get 10 seconds of rage - increased distance to throw your knives essentially gives you a longer rage as you can clear an entire room versus just the few closest to you!

i kno logan a throwing character but i tend to make sure he has the fire ars expert jus as a last resort. mainly wen im havin totally shit luck and none of my weapons come back from boomerang. also y i pick the durability slots cuz zeds demise katana is a very good crown clearing weapon wen your surrounded and i like to keep that maintained

Wait a minute as I was playing as logan he has tech 2 rage modes O_o

Regular Rage and when he's drunk

Rage kills = Power

Drunk gives him power strength health like a mix

so like the power of all the other char rages put together and separated into 2 rage modes XD and if you drink and use rage mode he's a god!!!!! my logan is lvl 48 XD I love this game way to much

@ea93rocka1 Yes it does, it makes you do 60% more damage. I personally can't stand the look and feel of being drunk, but Drunken Master + Medicinal Purposes is a great combo.

This is how I think that the defaults should have been, realisticallyl and game-wise, but i'll just use Logan as an Example:

Realistically: Health 100, Speed 110 (He's a Quaterback, it should be obvious), Stamina 110 (I mentioned he's a QB, right?)

Game wise: Health 90 (He's a ranged character, mostly) Speed 100 (No snappy comment) Stamina 100, or at least 90 (He's a Jack of all trades anyway, he should be able to be a replacement tank for a little while if Sam B. dies.

These are my opinions.

@TheSpartanK11 Personally, I see why they gave him the lowest stamina due to his throwing not taking stamina. Plus they give you the optional survival talent to raise it. But your ideas are not too out of the ordinary. I think Purna should have had the lowest stamina.

@TrendKiLLv01 I'm currently playing Logan right now. I've got Righteous Boomerang. Either the skill is broken or I've got the worst luck in the world. I've gone through all my weapon slots and not had a boomerang. But all and all, Logan definitely seems to be best for crowd control. Especially when dealing with mass infected.

Too bad I started playing Logan before I watched this video. When I started I thought... throwing your weapon?? Stoopid!!

@PicantePuce Yeah, I'm not sure what's wrong with your boomerang but I've had weapons boomerang 6 or 7 times in a row. Just try throwing you weapons at the ground for a few seconds and see if you get anything (just so you know it's working). ALso, yes, Logan is amazing at crowd control. If you get a group of zombies and happen to have an old smokey machete, it's game over. Also, check my guide on where to find the skulls and focus on the Purple Skull for the Minblowing Military Knife = you win.

@TrendKiLLv01 I don't know how long it's going to take me to get to the Purple Skull since it's in Moresby. My problem is the way I play leveled games. I'm still on resort and am grinding my way up to level 26 currently. I haven't even started main quest progression after the exodus to the lifeguard tower. Hopefully I'll be in Moresby in a couple more weeks *sigh*

@PicantePuce Haha, yeah. Take your time, enjoy the game. But when you do get there, make it a priority to have $10k and 5 diamonds so you can craft it ASAP. Make sure to collect the Brand Champagne in the kitchen of the hotel when you go through it (check all refrigerators). Then either craft several MMKs or dupe them. Either way have more than one, especially since your boomerang is broken.

@TrendKiLLv01 Yeah. I've had the game for about 5 days. I'm enjoying it so far. Concentrating on throwing has made killing a lot easier than melee. Do you know if there's anyway to target a body part when throwing? All I can do is throw and pray it hits a critial spot.

@TrendKiLLv01 You can aim, kinda. Where your reticle is on the zombie is where your knife lands. I've had 7 knives sticking out of a Thug's mouth.

Unfortunately my save game corrupted over this past weekend. Boo! Started over and found a quick way to level. If you've got a thug 1 on 1, break his arm, punch (no weapon) that arm and it will rebreak (100 - 1000 xp so far). You can easily milk 7x the thug's XP. I've gotten 10,000 XP off 1 thug at lvl 20.

@PicantePuce "kinda" being the operative word. It's all about how far you are away from them and what they're doing when you throw. You can't aim per se, but you can do your best to try to judge where it's going to land. Also, yeah the ol' broken brass knuckles on a thugs broken wrist trick? :D

@TrendKiLLv01 I'm not sure what happens when you have broken brass knuckles BUT, I attack with just plain old fists as I don't want to bruise it more than I have to before its wrist/arm/shoulder breaks. It's a delicate fountain of XP after all. I did level from 21 to 22 on just 2 thugs. I'm guessing I'm not looking at DI too much longer since Skyrim comes out on Friday... not sure how it'll be but my son wants it, and therefore I'll have no PS3 time =( Goodbye gaming...

Great build. Just a few things to add. Economical Throw(ET) is too awesome to wait so long, and grabbing just one level of it is going to give you all the crowd control capacity you need, the rest is just additional damage. So grab just one ET, fill up Telling Blows or Shinobi and then to come back, to fill up ET.

 ET works with Rage, so 3 targets more than makes up for last tier rage feat, simply because damage done by ET is multiplied by each target(30%x3=90% aoe=everything is dead anyway;)

@luciusnetheril A lot of good info there, before Economical Throw I only grab the second Boomerang for the extra RNG and Telling Blows because crowd control means nothing without crits :P Also, I'm not sure I understand what you mean by "ET is multiplied by each target" I haven't read that anywhere. Anyway, you could easily take your path for a bad ass Logan! Thanks for the input!

@TrendKiLLv01 Logan's rage target's each receive100% damage and each counts as a separate hit for ET. So every target procs 30% damage ET in the area around him. Thee targets make it 30%+30%+30% for everything that moves in the area around main targets. With tier3 rage it's 4 targets and it's 30%+30%+30%+30%(=120% to everything around), but that's just overkill :) Also ET1 has the same stopping power as your throw-it interrupts almost all zombies in the area, especially so-charging Infected ^_^

@HekaFOF No reason why you couldn't at any given time past Economical Throw you could really rearrange anything you wanted. I don't think I ever found 100% confirmation that the extra 1h weapon damage stacked when throwing.

i tried logan once but apparently my game kills my xian's progress too so eventually i got left with 2 glitched saves, so i restarted again with xian, but i'll definitely backup my files before trying logan. cuz.. i don't dare to do multiple characters now.

I have a question. Do the one handed skills effect and throwing skills effect stack ? If a throw a one handed weapon, will i get 46% chance to crit ( with way of the warrior) or 40% ?

@XDarkStrikerX Good question... My guess is that a one-handed weapon is a one-handed weapon until it's thrown, then it becomes a throwing weapon. I haven't confirmed that in any way, just speculation. Good question though. If that's the case it may change the build up a bit. I'll do some research.
