this amp is really coll and i know each of this channels have different tones and stuff like that but it would seem like Marshall makes this kinda amp so you don't buy a distortion pedal

Check out Peavey amps, they make great amps for less than $1000.00. Traynor makes some decent stuff, Canadian made...check out my page, I have a video of the blue amp up there...

I own this amp. It isn't so great for numetal tones. It can do Metallica pretty well, but it doesn't make that American chunk sound. I have had my 410C for 6 months now and I am absolutely in love with it. I play classic metal, Sabbath, Zep etc alot and it is amazing for that stuff.

100 watts. It is extremely powerful, extremely. Loud enough for a very large gig. So loud, by the time you have the tone you want, you are stupid loud.

I bought mine in Barrie Ontario for just over 2400 bucks.

I am trying to find a good quality way to reduce the power a little bit on this bad boy. I have already tried Yellow Jackets and EL-84's but it robbed the amp of it's incredible bottom end.
