Google is a huge company and I can understand that some may concerned about what google is able todo with his power on the market and the data they are able to collect from the user. But ... I'm with Matt and his view that google basically just tries to deliver good services and tools. The users appreciate this by using it.

and matt you are also right ....annoying is when you say GOOGLE wants to serve up the best organic results.... but I get returned to my browser CUSTOM RESULTS which makes it hard as a web master to Analise what real people are searching for. GEO TARGETING IS FINE FOR "PIZZA" return that to the Iphone to some one in oshcosh. I as a website owner and a ADULT want pure serps not custom based on what GOOGLE thinks i want to see .... thanks

MS first makes product and than force people to use it. And Google first looks what people may need and than tries to make it. Maybe it's only what I think but that's the key here for me.

And if we talk about Google's communication with users it is being improved for last 6 months. :)

Here in Germany they even want to make laws against Google, mostly because some politicians and members of the media can't state often enough how evil they think Google is. Google's overall reputation in terms of user data protection is less than ideal.

I really like Google products, and want you guys to continue with your awesome work. However, you kinda shot yourself in the foot with Street View, at least over here. Try being less intrusive and it will serve you well.

@NoirNG street view is intrusive? street view takes pictures that ANYONE could have seen if they had been passing by on the same PUBLIC grounds as you. there is nothing obtrusive about seeing something around the world that you showed the world.
