I always imagen ruined seattle, a few bursts of MG fire but then the camera zooms in a overturned russian helmet , pans up as American jets shoot over head. Seattle is retaken, now people are coming out of the ruined city, but now they count the dead and lost.

Nukes are not meant to be used as weapons from the start. Every nuclear powered nation is a deterrent to nuclear war. So no one wants to jump the gun because that person will be the first to get fucked by every other country with a ICBM.

One thing I don't get: why fight with troops when you can just nuke the shit out of your enemies. It's just a wasted effort, because in the end the losing side will just launch a nuclear barrage in anger and in an attempt to cling onto power. Either way, the war ends with a nuclear barrage, so why bother trying to win all those battles? Just use nukes.

@trivipesnipe Unfortunately either way a war between two nuclear-armed powers will 99.9999% end in either country laying in nuclear waste. Either they destroy each other with nukes the second war starts or they fight normally until one side starts losing, then they destroy each other with nukes anyways. As I said in above comment.

@marcus8374 Arcadish shit = close fighting helicopters ( they dont have radars? to engage at long ranges? ),tanks and IFVs and choppers squads do synchronized dance when move; tanks got "eletric" engines because they dont get speed, they already start at the standard speed, You need to tell the BMPs to shoot their ATGM against tanks, tanks doesnt use commander MG or the coaxical MG, They need to be FACE-TO-FACE with the enemy to engage,and a lots of things that forced me too abandon this game.

@patrikasLTL LOL I kno dude just in the game the Soviets NEVER use any fire support on u in the campaign for some reason they only use it on your allies,and on top of that the ame has a rock paper scissors type of attitude to units so its usually Soviet light vehicles like BMP's vs us heavy tanks and in the game trailers an old WW2 style infantry charge was shown but as u said the Soviet army in the 80's was as advanced as the US and NATO so yeh good point....

I love this song because it has such a war feeling to it. Just like the character you play (Who is narrating his accounts on the war as like a veteran of war, The feel to it reminds me of a Soldier thinking back to his fallen buddies, and their heroism.

Definitely a really well composed song for WiC
