my fav. movie all time i saw this movie when i was really young and always get it from the library when ever i can thankyou for making me feel so at home and at ease i love the song movie and you now lmao jk but not really THNX SO MUCH FOR THE MUSIC
nice my teacher showed my class this movie and it was scary/funny the scary part was wen the pic. in the house wen blood was coming out of it (scary!!!)
I remember I found a tape of that movie when I was like like... 4, in the early 90's. It's been a favorite since I first watched it. I consider it a real classic.
No kidding, like someone suggested, I went to the Vic Mizzy website and on there you can buy a new release CD (I think it's a limited edition of 3000) which includes the entire score of the movie including "haunted organ", the more "sinister"/classic version near the end played by "Mr. Kelsey". This damn movie is one reason for my life long fetish for the organ... :D!
I am bummed out a person cant save videos to thier drive from YouTube. This is so well done. Thank you for the enjoyment of it., I come back often., OUTSTANDING !
To this very day, hearing that organ music sends extreme chills up & down my spine. Believe it or not, I've seen the movie in a theater when it was first released!!!
There is something genuinely freightening about this piece of organ music! Maybe somebody in the medical field should do some research into this slice of macabre music!!
This is AWESOME! I would love to have the sheet music to this. I have been looking everywhere. Can you send it to me? I would be ever in your debt and would be willing to compensate you.
WHat's also neat about this piece is the fact that Vic Mizzy improvised the whole thing. The original Haunted Organ piece for the organ loft was Mizzy fooling around. The theme for the film was built on his improvisations later on.
And they used Bon Ami!

Yery entertaining! So realistic that I wondered if the organist would be murdered right there, and not even Bon Ami would get the blood stains out
