  • IM TRYING TO FIND THESE CATS IN THE MAJIC CITY AND LIQUOR DALE

  • This album is bad, this band is too damn bad!!! They are the funkiest band ever!

  • hehehehe.. I still have the LP....heheheheheeeeee

Saludos

  • I STILL have this album. This is song is still the shyt in my book. I mean it brings back memories of the day and lets these funkateers know what it was all about!!

  • It's a bad album. Not only do I have this sucker it's still in the plastic it came in. I took care of my records like they were my babies. Time to start playing these joints again. The reason youngheads don't know is because they never heard this shit...Only way it's coming back is if we starts exposing our grand kids to it . It needs to come back in a bad way.

  • I have this LP. Funkay!!!!

  • One more thing... The track sounds a bit badly mixed, not well equalized and a bit overdriven. Is this a bad digitalization or is it mixed this way on the LP? No big problem, I just want to know if I could overcome this by buying the LP (or CD if it exists in that form). I like the tune but it seems to me that it could sound even better.

  • @Ragnemalm Go ahead and get the LP if you haven't already. If I'm not mistaken ca33p must have amplified this before uploading, it sounds less overdriven on mine. But who cares, funk should be played loud! I actually think this gives it that raw funk essence of a party mood! Funk on!

  • @Ragnemalm - I did enhance the volume a bit, no equalization. The treble is definitely too high.I agree it could sound better. Maybe you should upload your own eh? :)

  • T-connectoin? :-)

  • @Ragnemalm - lol.. yep. I spotted the typo weeks after I uploaded the clip. Doesn't seem to hinder the popularity of the video a bit though ;)

  • Youtube is a great thing to remind one of all the old LP's we bought in the past and we still have..... YES I HAVE THIS LP... AND ..... NO WAY I WOULD SELL IT FOR 1000000 BUCKS..... MAYBE FOR 100000001...... LOL..... GOD-FUNK-YOU-ALL

  • This is the one, been searching 30+ years for this track. Thank you

  • @JudeMarty GLAD YOU FOUND IT, I HAVE THE LP BOUGHT BACK IN THE 80'S AND STILL HAVE IT HERE.... :-)))))))))

  • 5/5

  • Very nice band!

  • F-U-N-K, tell me who you funked today!

    On the one forever!

    Aaahlex

  • does anybody remember a cut called "choosing"? it was really beautiful but i haven't heard it in many years.

  • No funk track beats this one, that's for sure - it's funky, creative and sensual at the same time.

My favourite line goes "even the trees are growing funk leaves"... :-)

I'll stay fully dedicated to this masterpiece song til eternity...

  • @moonstep1969 I fully agree ;)

  • I love this song since 1979.......The way you move is merely a soul reflection the Funk you feel is known as a T-Connection Oh yeah!. par-a-pa-pawn... pa-pa-para-ra ra pa pawn...

  • still have this one,, love the bass line

  • Oh ! yeah!

  • True classic Funk!!!

  • I bought the album this is from when it came out on the strength of "Do What you Wanna Do". The album rocked! I love the way this track chamges groove near the end. The Isleys do this on "Take me to the Next Phase" and Led Zep do it to sometimes albeit in a rock idiom. It's like changing gear - love it when it is done well. Thanks for posting this.
