Hans still blows a mean trumpet even if he is getting on up in age...Max is still a madman with that clarinet, Gunhild is unbelievable and Ulf has turned into a monster on drums.......BRAVO....

@rdangelo I can't help but wonder what credentials you have to make such a comment. As a trained jazz musician, I have followed the Carling family for years and have put Gunhilde on my list of top 10 trombonists. I think maybe you just don't get it or are not a fan of dixieland. I assure you however that her being a cute blond does help, but the musicianship is defiantly there. Check out some of her big band stuff. Not the best I agree, but incredibly talented.

I first saw the Carling family at the Enkhuizen festival NL when Ulf was just 8. I was there working with Max Collie at the time and Hans told me that he had taught all the kids to play oboe and playing anything else was easier. I last saw the family last year in Germany when Ulf was perfecting the art of playing snare while riding a unicycle. Exciting musicians and, as most Swedes are, nice people...
