  • where should i put the coolant? the hole on the radiator or the other one under the rad that says coolant? im a noob

  • @tarzie84 the radiator till its full to the top and the bottle to where it says full on the side

  • just the water pump

  • its been repaired since this video.

lots of things were fixed while the leak got fixed.

  • when it leaks there the waterpump needs to be replaced not just a the gasket....also change your timing belt while your at it since that drives the pump.. u wouldn't want to change your pump and then your belt goes and your motor is screwed. so change both of those....also a whistling or rattling noise can indicate a busted water pump. replace it all before its too late...water-pumps last up to 60k so replace every 60k along with timing belt.

  • I beg to differ. I am currently replacing the Water Pump on my 1996 Geo prizm 1.6 today. The car was bought by myself in Nov 2003 @103k miles. I did the last water pump at 189k, it now has 343k miles! So this last Autozone pump lasted a long time! Most water pumps will go 120 k miles, if hose leaks are attended to, and they are not allowed to overheat.

  • if itz leakin from the waterpump than itz the gasket iz bad, broken, or worn out and you need to change it

  • that's the reason we no longer have the Cadillac, sigh...
