Peyton Manning does more with less than any qb ever has done. Last season he had little or no protection. The Colts just drafted him a potentially great OT to protect him, in Costanza (sp?) No qb can succeed without a good OL, no matter if he is the GOAT.

Peyton Manning is one of the greatest QBs to ever play the game. If any says he's losing it are morons. The guy is playing with WRs like Blair White who were on the practice squad earlier this season. Clark, Addai, Collie, injured, O-Line injured, defense is crap as usual. Run game is no good as usual. The number of interceptions can depend on a lot of things, especially playstyle. Tom Brady has a lot of very short throws, which means his yards are because of his recievers. While Manning has to hit his guys hands 30-40 yards down to be able to make a good play.
As JR said sometimes it's not the QB's fault, sometimes it is the recievers fault.

Peyton Manning does more with less than any qb ever has done. Last season he had little or no protection. The Colts just drafted him a potentially great OT to protect him, in Costanza (sp?) No qb can succeed without a good OL, no matter if he is the GOAT.

@leaf1300 haha keep lookin up the stats instead of watchin the games. if you actually watched manning play you would see quite obviously that the reason he doesnt get sacked is because he has that ball leaving his hands in 3 seconds or less on every play. so unless its a blown block or a untouched defender manning wont be getting sacked. but if he holds that ball for 3.1 seconds he will be. No other QB can work with that lack of protection. Just proves his greatness even more.

Dude apparently you don't pay close attention to the differences between Tom Brady and Peyton Manning. Wouldn't wish his team on Tom Brady? Manning still has Reggie Wayne. Tom Brady is playing with rookies, castoffs, etc. And as much as I love Welker Tom Brady made him. Remember... he was an undrafted free agent and this year he's coming off a knee injury. @greggymcgurks Brady has a better offensive line, better running game (stats back this up) and that defence allows less rushing yards than the 32nd ranked Colts rushing D - so quit making stuff up. Reggie good but he's 31 and Manning is missing 3 starters at WR/TE (Collie, Clark and Gonzalez). Brady isn't throwing to guys who were on the practise squad 4 games into the season. The Pats are 17th or something in points allowed so quit using that excuse, the Colts have allowed more points.

Brady, time and time again, has shown remarkable consistency through his career and from coming off injuries. Don't get me wrong, Manning is a great QB, but he is extremely reliant on flawless protection from his O-line (which has been battered the past few games). Brady is more versatile overall and quicker on his feet.
Oh and winning Superbowls DOES matter, because that shows how well you can lead your team

Take Peyton out of the Colts roster and put an average QB in there and tell me how they would do. id say they would be lucky to win 4 games. He has no defense to work with, no O-Line, and his receivers are banged up. I just don't understand how you could blame him for throwing picks, he is being rushed every time he makes a throw and he does not have the confidence in his receivers to make plays on their own. Peyton Manning is one of the greatest QBs to ever play the game. If any says he's losing it are morons. The guy is playing with WRs like Blair White who were on the practice squad earlier this season. Clark, Addai, Collie, injured, O-Line injured, defense is crap as usual. Run game is no good as usual. He's out there alone. That's a struggle for any QB. Keep in mind, Brady has always had a solid O-line protecting him, and they had the defense win the rings for the Pats and Vinetieri, not Brady

The only people that say he is a shitty QB are the people who favor teams that usually get beaten by the Colts in the regular season. If you don't like him, that's all good and well, but he single handedly turned one of the worst franchises into a dominant regular season team who constantly wins their division and has won a super bowl, and who has thrown over 4,000 yards for 11 seasons and has had 25 TD passes 13 season straight. To say he is a shit QB is absolutely idiotic.

Look I'm no Peyton manning Fan either but even I have to give credit where credit is due. The guy is hands down one of the best Quarterbacks of all time. Nuff said. Now when it comes to Eli Manning, well we may have a discussion on that ^_^!

The number of interceptions can depend on a lot of things, especially playstyle. Tom Brady has a lot of very short throws, which means his yards are because of his recievers. While Manning has to hit his guys hands 30-40 yards down to be able to make a good play.
As JR said sometimes it's not the QB's fault, sometimes it is the recievers fault.
Now I am neither a Colts nor Patriots fan.

@ SWATAIR Yes, I would agree that Brady is looking better atm, but I don't think we should forget what Manning has been doing a long time. Every QB has their ups and downs. I think the Patroits is a better team, they have a lot of discipline.

@Hammisvinet yes i know, brady throws 6-7 yard passes but its because we dont have a threat like Reggie Wayne, we depend on YAC and were getting that, but its not like bradys throwing short, his yards per pass are VERY close to Peytons and Bradys longest past of the season is much further then mannings.

Even with the bad stretch peyton has had... i gotta say he is still a BEAST. ... gotta realise that he has only lost 3 straight games once in 8 YEARS. let me repeat that... 8 YEARS. i mean... i'd definitely take peyton over brady. w/ brady he is only now showing he can play well w/o a dominant defense peyton has shown that for YEARS. i understand. brady really doesn't have a "superstar" to throw to... but his o-line is much better than peytons which imo evens it out.
