I've been saying this guy will play in the NFL since his freshman season at NC State. All around better quarterback than Andrew Luck and RG3. He is definitely a 1st round pick. As an NC State fan, I never missed watching or listening to one game when he played. For Wisconsin I saw every one but two games. He is an all-around good kid and deserves to be in the pros. I think the Seahawks will fall in love with him to be a possible starter, and not a developmental player as he is a perfect match for the system they want to run. They'll take him in the 2nd to ensure they get him. (If you had TJack as your starter, you'd reach to replace him also.)

@larrwd As a former Falcon fan, Wilson would be the best choice of starter in Philly haha. He fits the scheme really well. They trade Kafka, draft Wilson to be 2nd behind Vick. Very high possibility that's what happens. Would be a smart move.

He may be 5 foot 10, but he has quick release, a strong arm, spreads the ball around, very accurate, and knows how to step up in the pocket to find the holes and make good throws. I think he will be drafted in the 3rd or 4th round by the seahawks or the eagles.

@tjhazukiv1 We would have to take him much earlier, say the 3rd round. He has great mechanics, plays in a pro-style offense where he takes snaps from center. Has NFL level arm strength and his athletic ability only helps his cause. Had Russell been about 3-4 inches taller he would be considered a top-15 pick.

@Sawyer5500 No it won't. Russell Wilson is highly unlikely to be drafted. At 5'10 - 5'11", no team will take take him to be QB. His only is to be a free agent and make a squad. Even in that case, it would be a practice squad. He won't play a down in the NFL.

@petion2010 If a GM sits down with Wilson and needs a development QB to sit behind a starter (and may need starter in the future) they'll jump on him. He has great character, incomparable leadership skills, great accuracy, great athletic talent, and he's as smart as they come. He played his last year behind the 4th biggest O-line in the United States. The only bigger NFL line is The Bengals'. If he shows he can play from under center, he'll be gone after the 4th round is done.

@petion2010 Practice squad? You kidding me? He and RGIII were neck and neck all season for the top QB rating, and he was on a top tier team, not one with 250 pound guys on their o line. The guy played spectacularly behind pro sized linemen and against pro sized d-lines, so I don't buy the 5'10" thing. He'll prove his worth to whoever chooses him. A second stringer at the VERY LEAST. Remember I told you that.
