I've been saying this guy will play in the NFL since his freshman season at NC State. All around better quarterback than Andrew Luck and RG3. He is definitely a 1st round pick. As an NC State fan, I never missed watching or listening to one game when he played. For Wisconsin I saw every one but two games. He is an all-around good kid and deserves to be in the pros. The people that think he is not good enough are crazy, I know, they just have not seen him play enough. Best quarterback in the dra
I think the Seahawks will fall in love with him to be a possible starter, and not a developmental player as he is a perfect match for the system they want to run. They'll take him in the 2nd to ensure they get him. (If you had TJack as your starter, you'd reach to replace him also.)
@larrwd As a former Falcon fan, Wilson would be the best choice of starter in Philly haha. He fits the scheme really well. They trade Kafka, draft Wilson to be 2nd behind Vick. Very high possibility that's what happens. Would be a smart move.
@petion2010 right because talent doesn't mean anything in the NFL... GMs see the talent and potential but won't draft him because he's short... haha you've got to be kidding. Ok what does it matter that Drew Brees was cut once, look where he is now and the success he's having. I really don't understand you're argument.
@mcbm1991 I wonder the same thing. haha. if I, as a fan had an answer, I would say, "He didn't have the Luck" Because that's Luck's exact same frame. but he's still a good QB for his "small" frame
@PSwildcat12 Haha I agree. If a team will just give him a year to really develop, then the chance to start; he'll make a GM, head coach, owner, and fan base REALLY REALLY HAPPY!
A shame for WI to have him for just one year. He was incredible. If he is 3 inches taller he'd be a 1st round draft pick. The only thing you can say about him that you don't like is he isn't very tall. You can't say you don't like how he plays.
how did you do that effect where it looks like a lightning flash in the first minute of the video? That is awesome! What software do you use to edit your videos?
damn his stats are impressive only 3 INTs he ill get drafted when you're smart with te football coaches like that I see him going to the buccaneers in the 4-5th round kellen morre I see going to the Broncoes
NEW YORK JETS or ARIZONA CARDINALS take him in the 2cd or 3rd round... Sanchez stinks it up........ Russel cleans it up.... Kolb is not going to cut it, Fitzgerald needs a gamer.
He may be 5 foot 10, but he has quick release, a strong arm, spreads the ball around, very accurate, and knows how to step up in the pocket to find the holes and make good throws. I think he will be drafted in the 3rd or 4th round by the seahawks or the eagles.
@tjhazukiv1 We would have to take him much earlier, say the 3rd round. He has great mechanics, plays in a pro-style offense where he takes snaps from center. Has NFL level arm strength and his athletic ability only helps his cause. Had Russell been about 3-4 inches taller he would be considered a top-15 pick.
@703EvoIX but since he's AN INCH shorter than Drew Brees... he's not in the top 8 QBs in the draft... he deserves to be top 3 maybe even tied for #2 QB behind Luck
@Sawyer5500 No it won't. Russell Wilson is highly unlikely to be drafted. At 5'10 - 5'11", no team will take take him to be QB. His only is to be a free agent and make a squad. Even in that case, it would be a practice squad. He won't play a down in the NFL.
@petion2010 You're retarded. He has first round talent. He threw over an OL with an average height of about 6'5 this past year and did fine. He will get drafted in a mid round, maybe even earlier. There is 0% he goes undrafted. Don't really know where you got that from...
@SportsGuy2194 It's not about his talent you dumb ass. he has it. At 5'10", no GM will draft. No one has shown any interest in him of Kellen Moore so far.
@petion2010 Kellen Moore won't make it in the NFL. Wilson can easily be a career backup. He will be drafted and so will Kellen Moore. Most likely 5th-7th round. You're an idiot.
@SportsGuy2194 What are you five years old? You're just throwing temper tantrum, with you're an idiots. or you were looking in a mirror while posting? He came under 5'11" at the senior bowl. In fact, he was barely above 5'10". No one is looking for a QB that short. As good as Drew Brees is, he was cut once simply because he didn't fit the prototype. the And he's 6 feet tall.
@petion2010 Exactly. Like I said, he will be a career backup. A guy who can come in for 1-3 games at a time and keep a team competitive. He will be drafted. Somewhere between the 5th and 7th round. I don't really know what you are trying to get at with your last comment. Lol... Comical.
@SportsGuy2194 I dont care how tall Wilson is, he can play. If someone gives him a legit chance he will be a good starter in the NFL. I'm expecting him to go in the 4th.
@petion2010 If a GM sits down with Wilson and needs a development QB to sit behind a starter (and may need starter in the future) they'll jump on him. He has great character, incomparable leadership skills, great accuracy, great athletic talent, and he's as smart as they come. He played his last year behind the 4th biggest O-line in the United States. The only bigger NFL line is The Bengals'. If he shows he can play from under center, he'll be gone after the 4th round is done.
@mcbm1991 Look you obviously like the kid, that's fine. All I'm saying is that everything you said is highly unlikely at 5'10". The best I see for him is practice squad.
@petion2010 Practice squad? You kidding me? He and RGIII were neck and neck all season for the top QB rating, and he was on a top tier team, not one with 250 pound guys on their o line. The guy played spectacularly behind pro sized linemen and against pro sized d-lines, so I don't buy the 5'10" thing. He'll prove his worth to whoever chooses him. A second stringer at the VERY LEAST. Remember I told you that.
Great video. The two losses were tough to swallow, and I am not optimistic about the Rose Bowl, but Russell has been key to any success. What a player!

How Russell Wilson was not a Heisman finalist is beyond me. Less than a god...but more than a man.

Ravens better pick him up in the 6th round!
Then play with Flacco for one more season and trade him away after winning the super bowl for three first round picks!

He's going to the 49ers in the 7th round! =]
Though I have to say, if he added a few more inches, he would be a first round pick
