The HD versions are a ports of the PC version which is 98% (and i can see it in this walkthrough) identical to the Xbox version. Now if you are like me and originally owned the PS2 version(s) you will noticed the differences in maps, but your objectives are the same, The HD versions are fun, I prefer them to the PS2 version. I never owned the Xbox versions

To all those who cant extract as the elevator doors are closed, heres the solution.

1) Go to the room with the spiral stairs.

2) 2 cameras are there in the room.

3) You see the camera that doesnt move? (Not the one near the tv)

Well disable the other one(the still one) and turn right (where the camera is watching) there's a little corridor that's just out of view.

There's an elevator there... extract.

Spoilers: Next mission is different and tough if you arent good at stealth.

At 3:47 I have a problem. Maybe my version of the game has a mistake.. I can't slide over the hole cable.. i jump on it and at 3/4 of it, Sam falls down! Normally you have to push 1x jump and Sam slide automatically over the cable, right? Please help me!

This game is fun to play and I love it however in reality you CANNOT pass someone right in front of their leg with ambient lighting and not be seen. It's IMPOSSIBLE. Forget about the goggle light, I'm talking his light meter at minimum when in real life a human can see in that level of "darkness". I mean after about 2 hours in the dark I can see a whole room with just ONE LED lit. Yes not in detail but I would be able to tell objects and a HUMAN!!!

@truegamer88 just worked it out.. you've probably done it by now, but just incase, if your elevator is shut, then you have to go into the room where the curly stairs are with the camera above the plasma tv, and in that red lit room where another camera is, avoid detection there, and just climb into the elevator, and hit A :)

Those lights are there for the player, they wouldn't actually light up, this is shown in Chaos Theory's online versus mode where Mercenary players are unable to see these green lights generated by the nightvision goggles.

What I don't get about Splinter Cell is why none of the head honchos of these mission settings bother to keep their lights on. If you keep your base well-lit, you might not be getting infiltrated quite so much, hmm?

I take assault and kill everyone with a shotgun blast to the face in this without being seen, makes it good fun :D You can blast that mercenery in the face with a sniper and knock him off the balcony.

You have to either go around and through the back or walk up to it and 'Use Crawlspace' to enter, I found it confusing but once your in just hit extraction and your done, good luck.

if you found the blueprints go back to that room, walk past the pc and out the door. you should now be at a balcony-like area with a camera - tap it. then go up the staircase and into the room that looks like a janitor closet and pass through the industrial-like door. or the bedroom with the guy jamming to the music while sitting also leads to the same door. hope i helped

I see you helped PrinzP9 so I got a question about the game, each time I try to go to the other building thru the neon sign, I jump, and he grabs the rope and starts sliding to the other building, and while I do not click anything at that time, he always lets the rope go and falls down and dies, so I can't get to the other building, is there any button to keep him on the rope or what am I doing wrong anyway?

In the bank level, they found 512 encryption on an file (the pc in the vault) and the only two people who could do that were Masse (killed in the first game) and zherkazie (whose penthouse you visit in the next leve). I think that's the connection.
