Thanks for this. I attended a local Smart growth meeting a month ago where the executive were confident that all city councils will soon be run by smart growth principles. I offered the Precautionary Principle to council during submissions from the public to their 2006 and 2008-2011 Budgets. Smart growth was absent at these meetings. Salmon Arm, B.C., my Mars Alamo.
